We don't need a slow striker that needs everything on a plate to score. Even then he's scuffed a few shots in the past. We need pace and youth in the championship. We have the experience in the defence and midfield. Up front we need raw power.

Also, any ****er complaining about Meyler is just being a dick.

When he came on, we suddenly had a link between the midfield and attack. He changed the game and we looked the much better side.

At this level, he'll be superb. This isn't the ****ing Prem anymore, people need to wake up and realise that.

Because Deano had 'pace and youth'...

Jelavic was one of those that missed sitters last season.

McGregor took us out of Europe and helped send us down. Will Bruce be able to take the decision and be finished with him? There's no certainty he will unfortunately. Bruce let Harper go and when he could have let McGregor go.

Nice to see Davies back in his comfort zone.

Impressed with Odubajo, Robertson, Davies, Dawson, Akpom today.

Clucas looks like another Quinn, just perhaps with more scope to improve.

CJM completely out of his depth.

Jelavic hasn't got the right frame of mind for this league. Wants the ball all the time but does very little with it once he has it.

    Thudd still slow as ****.

Elmo seems to be less effective. I didn't think odubajo was incredible but I think he showed Elmo up a few times.

Don't like Meyler much. He hasn't got one attribute that is above average. He's just bland.

Hayden had a poor game , showed his inexperience.

Deano was Deano though. jelavic is a pale comparison to the Legend. Deano could still create on his own to compensate for his age/lack of speed.

Agree we had nothing down the right. Elmo had no end product all day.
    Our final ball was tragic.
    Clucas and CJM look lightweight.
Chubby may be greedy but he will score and improve.
Jelly doesn't look like he wants to be anywhere else but here as some say. He looks committed, but he is just one of those forwards that looks out of it until he is In it. He relies on supply and he had sod all of it, whereas the younger Chubster has the energy to chase the ball more.
Our defence looks great. And yes I thought Dawson was a bit vague when asked about his future. I worry one of today's CBs will go.
We saw how much we need a midfield that works, as we only started to play late when Meyler arrived. Although that could be down to tired legs in he opposition as much as us.

The next two weeks is going to hurt us.

Pretty sure the fact there's always more urgency in last 10 mins and Wolves being knackered had something to do with it also.

Problem with Meyler is he comes on with energy (although that fades if he plays more than 35 mins), he even runs up to support the forwards but he hasn't got the quality for a final ball or shot. I wouldn't get rid of him, he'll play a part and maybe this is more his level but I would certainly not build a midfield around him. That's suicide.

Fair enough. He does huff and puff, he's the midfield Mcshane basically, I just want him to play his role, simple passes, simple tackles. Support the more gifted players.

Load of ****, you can't accept when he plays well, you never have been able to.

You have a dislike for Meyler similar to Charon with Bruce Junior...

Regardless of McGregor's mistake, there will be fewer more difficult games this season than that one. Not many teams will go to Wolves and take any points - let alone three.

It's a good point and we're well up there going into Wednesday's game.

Well that's no different than your opinion of other forum members then.

Meyler is incredibly average, pretty sure the entire world of football would agree.

If Meyler starts next game, guaranteed he won't have this impact.

I'll have the lottery numbers as well, Mystic Meg.

He could score the goal that won us the Champions League and you'd still criticise that he didn't take the ball round the keeper or something.

Quite a few may take points if they are that rubbish at finishing chances.

I only saw the last twenty minutes but I thought we looked good. We were unlucky not to win it in the bit I saw. Looking at the stats though, Wolves must have been much different earlier.

I like Akpom. He is direct and prepared to shoot.

Good Game....could have gone either way...bad error ...but had a fab day supporting Hull City as usual...

    3 TT Coaches
    1 EYMS Coach

Cant understand why we took 23 TT Coaches to ****ing ****ty liverpool and
    Only 3 today.

Shame really City could have done with more vocal support today

Just passed EYMS Coach stopped on way out of wolverhampton with side window smahed.

How many City fans were there Filey?

Didn't look to be more than 300 or so on TV.

They won't be finishing like that later in the season.
