There's this fella where I live that walks around town in a full Spurs kit. I mean full kit, shin pads the lot. Absolute numpty of the highest order. To make it worse he wears it all year round, most days. In winter the Spurs hat, scarf and gloves even come out. #cock

I must admit I own 2 Liverpool tops. One is the old Crown Paints one, and is retro as you like (only wear it to live games) and I also have the 2012/13 one - but I only ever wear it occasionally to the gym. Not sure why I bothered to buy it to be honest, as adults walking about it football shirts is embarrassing imho.

    Each to their own though.

John Terry does that. To be fair you never know when you might stumble across a trophy presentation.

My last top was the black vodafone one 12 years ago. That was quality and looked more like a sporty t shirt than a football shirt. Wouldnt buy one now. It's the littlun's time now so buy it for him (but not every season)

Not yet tbh. He's 9 and generally happy when I treat him to one. I probably will get it though.

When I take him to football, I'm a little surprised ppl waste money on Barca tops for their kids. But maybe that's just me, and parents are just getting what their kids want.

I'll be getting the new one for my lad. Apart from the Chevrolet logo I like it. Was never a fan of the Nike kits.

Most of the Barca tops that kids wear are cheap ones from Turkey and other dodgy countries!!

My lad has a fake Barca top although we did buy it in Barca! He has a few fake tops from places we or his grand parents have been. I think his Valencia one may be real as we have a connection to the city and he bought a real Benfica one with his own money this summer as we went to Lisbon. I did insist that he buy last season's though as the new one was daft expensive and the only noticeable difference was the sponsor. The new sponsor is Fly Emirates so it looked like a Gooner top which was another good reason not to get it!

To be fair a lot of the fake tops are pretty much identical if you get them from the right stall. Last year I was in Turkey and in the hotel they were selling fake tops and they were flying off the shelves from the British tourists. I didn't buy any but had a look, and they looked very good quality. I think they were about £8 each for a kids size (that's with a name on the back too!).

The new Utd kit is alright

Obvs as a pool fan i'm duty bound to say i wouldn't use that abomination to wipe my arse or as a cum rag but adidas have done a good job but yeah the sponsor logo looks ****e

Remember getting a Barca shirt on one holiday I had to Spain as a lad, was a real one

There used to be a market stall in town that sold footie shirts... dunno if those was real or knock offs but got a couple of euro ones

I quite like a couple of the retro South American club tops but that's about it. The only time I bought other tops was in Germany during the world cup. Only the games I was going to see. Bought some half and half scarves for said games.... it was a world cup so seemed ok :bandit:

    Birthdays and Christmas.

My Mum used to buy them towards the end of season for me and my brother, when they were cheaper and you could get 2 for 1. Do shops still do that? Haven't bought a footie shirts for probably 10yrs.
