On topic: Both very good players. Ronaldo for sure has better ability, but the attitude ruins it for him. Tough call to be honest, perhaps Ronaldo edges it due to raw ability.

Nani is one of our best players Nolhman so its only natural you want him to leave.

Rooney is not even the best forward in England let alone better than Ronaldo. I would even go as far as saying the likes of Villa and Tevez and RVP are better forwards than Rooney.

Ceasar if Nani is one of our best players, why do people see him as a utility player? Obviously your opinion is not shared by others. I am a fan of Nani and I believe he is our 2nd best forward after Rooney. However, this opinion is not shared and I do hope he leaves.

Similar to Nohlman being one of the worst posters and we all naturally want him to leave? <laugh>

His attitude to winning the game is second to none though. I know he's an arsey get but that's because he's a winner, anyone who has such a phenomenal goal output certainly has the correct attitude.

I'd have Ronaldo back in a second, not neccessarily at Rooneys expense, but because he is a genuinely superb football player who in his time at United was unstinting in his efforts to win us matches.

I am sorry but your opinion is clearly not valued by fifa and the world player of the year voters. That clearly proves Ronaldo is better. The big question is, why are we even discussing this? It is clear Ronaldo is better.

    This is an embarrassing thread.

Rose tinted comes to mind but this is beyond that.

I'd pick John O'Shea over both of them!

Ronaldo prefers to play out wide as a wide foward. Where as Rooney prefers to play in as a second striker.

I'd pick Rooney because he tracks back.

It is like saying I would pick Oshea ahead of Vidic because he is versatile and works hard.

Rooney and Ronaldo never had a clean sheet in goal or megged Luis Figo.

Again with the I hope Nani one of our best players leaves. Why hope he leaves when it weakens the team you claim you support? Surely a fans love for their club exceeds the devotion they have for a player?

<laugh> So he was desperate to stay at Liverpool but he felt he had no choice so he settled for Real Madrid?

Bollocks. He was in the same situation as Ronaldo. Both wanted to play for the biggest team in the world, both got their dream yet you laugh at the claim Ronaldo loved it at United but you believe it to be true that Alonso loved it at Liverpool. Baffling.

Exactly Benitez pushed your best (most important) player out of the club and yet you still idolise the clown.

I would happily take Ronaldo back but Rooney makes us tick so I would never willingly sell him.
