Reading boss Steve Clarke could have new winger Paolo Hurtado in the squad for the visit of Leeds.

Strikers Dominic Samuel (knee) and Pavel Pogrebnyak are likely to miss out, while winger Garath McCleary remains sidelined (calf)

Leeds will be without Cook for the next three games following his straight red card midweek. Lucky for Leeds, Murphy is fit again, and should slot straight back into midfield.

Adayemi, Bamba and Silvestri are more or less guaranteed starting places following being rested midweek.

Rosler will have a dilemna whether to choose the players who played 120 minutes of football just 3 days beforehand.

Afternoon Elland. Don't think Murphy will start as Rosler won't want to risk aggrevating an injury. So maybe a change of formation with 2 up front and 4 in midfield including Dallas & Byram. Think it might be a draw, but hoping for us to sneak a win

Nah, Shaks, was a straight red. Block tackle with both feet. I would have been screaming my lungs out for a red if it was the other way around. Would you have settled for a yellow if the tackle had been made by one of them?

No Jock, football is about tackling, but the PC FA pansy brigade have ruined it. Cook didn;t connect even, I watch the Rhinos and yes it's a different game, but you don't fake it if you're not hurt. So what's your opinion about shirt pulling?

Oh, didn't realise he was faking. Missed that. Honestly believe that the match should only be stopped for really serious injuries, or injuries to the keeper. In all other circumstances the 4th official should allow the trainer (singular!) to come onfield whilst the game is in play (they do this in rugby, don't they?). I would also yellow card any of these bastards that drag themselves back onfield so that they can get the game stopped to get medical attention. Ungentlemanly conduct IMO.

Totally disagree with shirt pulling. We had a deffo penalty against Donny. Wood's shirt was almost pulled off, & it was soooo obvious. Would probably have been a penalty if it was the other way round. Just our luck. Only 3 ways to stop it. First 2 won't happen (and rightly so!)

    1. Replace the shirt with body paint! :D
    2. Make the strip a sleeveless onesie! :D
    3. After each game, independent referees should scrutinise match footage for things like shirt pulling, spitting, punching, obvious diving etc.& dish out a yellow for each offence.

Finally, I agree that the game must include a healthy amount of tackling, but I disagree with two footed block tackles. They've been outlawed for a reason. They're leg breakers.if

I did, Shaks, in the 60s/70s, and I was the worst right back you ever saw in your life. Slow with no timing, no-one ever got past. Free kick every time :D

I didn't think it was a typical 2 footed challenge. The other player wasn't gonna be hurt by that unless he was made of glass.

Talking of which I got two footed in a game last night and the guy that did didn't even get a booking.

Shaks has voted for Reading to win by 3 goals or more.

Shaks, did you mean to do this, or had to had one too many?

Rhinos? Is that the girlie give the ball back after 6 tackles & can't even scrimmage because they might mess up their hairdos footy?
