That was a good way to get up and running
After the disappointment of week one,
More than a touch of flair and extra cunning
Proved good enough to leave the ´Cats´ undone

And when the ageing wizard that is Wesley
Is in the mood, as he was here today,
He´s just as in tune as an Elvis Presley
    In orchestrating our decisive play

Well done too, Alex Neil, still undefeated
Away from home, in his Norwich career,
He´s showed belief in how he has competed
And removed any element of fear

The spirit of the group is all important
The sum of the parts, that will make us tick,
Have that, and the talent that has lay dormant
Ought then to have a chance to really click

It wasn´t just the three points here that mattered
But more the manner that they were accrued,
We left a hostile home ground bruised and battered
As we paraded in confident mood

That can only bode well for what´s upcoming
Top of my agenda, a home win please,
But more play like today will get us humming
And a Carrow Road triumph soon we´ll seize. OTBC - INIT

I liked you better, albeit marginally, when you were SN 23 - whatever happened to him?

    (Only joking, by the way)

Think we can be justifiably satisfied, without being smug, as illustrated above, about today´s performance.

You only comment on your own crappy poems (only joking) I thought you left ?
You even did a I'm leaving thread.
    I hope you stay though.
Same as as Dave who moderates the Sunderland board and Kevin the Gillingham supermod Resurgan.

Whatever is your problem tonight ? - I said my goodbyes, yes, not knowing how much time, if any, I would be able to spend on here in the future, and I ´m still in that situation now.

If I get enough time, I´ll pop in, if I don´t, I won´t - and incidentally I´ll comment on what interests me, or what I feel strongly about, as I always have done.

Think some have been drinking too much tonight. Keyboards should come with a built in breathalyser. ;-)

Hi skald bor, too much Old John Barleycorn induces incoherence, explains a lot, don't you think. (hic, celebrating our defeat of the Black Cats, hic) !!!

Three points in the bag, now we need to collect three more from our next game. How is Missus ?

Regards to the Prince of Denmark.

Afternoon NORKIE, have to say that as good as the win was, I´d always prefer to maintain at least some sort of equilibrium and compos mentis, in order to enjoy the occasion. A clear moral though for those who want to drink themselves senseless - is perhaps, ´stay off message boards´ ;)

No better but no worse with the missus, thanks - we´re both suffering a bit with the heat at the moment :emoticon-0107-sweat
