Wow the 2nd half was torture but another 3 points in the bag. Man of the match for me was easily Robert Huth
Not sure I agree mate (surprise!). I think Kasper was stupid puting his arms out but I don't think he intended to bring the player down, who'd lost control of the ball by he way. Their keeper's challenge was a rib-breaker. I can understand both decisions. EDIT: Just listening to the radio report and both Stringer and Elliott thought their keeper should have walked before the ref pulled the card out.
Well done on the win lads. I'm not sure we deserved a defeat but that's the way it goes. Good luck with the rest of your season.
Fhttp://neolive.net/27489/1/Watch-West-Ham-United-vs-Leicester-City-/ Could have had our keeper sent off in the first half so the score could have been different. Adrian was a numpty though - looked rather intentional to me as he stepped into Vardy - so expect him to be out for few number of games. Good luck with the rest of the season.
I'm completely with you. If you karate kick someone then don't be surprised if you get sent off, he wasn't even looking at the player, and the referee was in the perfect position. Not sure about the Schmeichel incident, will need to see it again, but it looked to me like Sakho ran into him, though the arm was a little dodgy. Vardy and Adrian had previous from the challenge in the first half, which was far less reckless, hence a yellow.
Hi Trick. Yeah abit of luck involved no doubt. Some you win some you don´t. WHU look a good side under SB & I´m sure you ain´t got no worries about relegation. Obviously we´ll be gunning for a top 4 finish
I don´t think he ment it & to me, KS knew what he was doing. Still it´s all about opinions. Still a top away win. "I`M H.A.P.P.Y"
And in these situations, there's only one opinion that matters - the refs. Thankfully, he got it right (IMO).
Looked completely accidental from Adrian. Had his eyes on the ball. I think that will get overturned. Everyone gets good and bad luck with referees so I won't complain about the officials too much. Hopefully we'll get the rub of the green in another game. We dominated possession but didn't create that much so I won't pretend we completely outplayed you. I think neither of us have too many relegation worries this season so enjoy the rest of the season. See you on here for the return.
Won't get overturned as foot was chest high so dangerous play - I was talking about anything extra for violent play as he made contact and and to me it looks like it was intentional while to others it isn't. Either way he's out for your next game.
No need to pretend anything. If anything we outplayed you first half, and you certainly had a good first 20 mins of 2nd half but then offered very little. Think Kasper was fortunate not to give a penalty away Great start to the season for the mighty Foxes
Certainly could have gone either way with the decisions Schmeichel has got away with 2 errors in the last 2 games. Im personally with you about the decision being overturned for Adrian, though im not sure they can reduce it to a yellow, so they will haveto clear the tackle completely, so it could get tricky. We don't do posession because we attack too fast, im not sure we've ever had more than 50% possession in the Premier League, even when we beat Sunderland last weekend we only had 46%.
The Schmeichel one was a penalty. Not a sending off as Huth is clearly in a position to defend. Adrian one was a clear sending off. Clumsy and dangerous. Clearly unintentional but he could have really hurt Vardy.
I think it was a game of two halves but we certainly deserved to win. There was a period of about 30-35 minutes in the first half where we completely dominated and looked like scoring with each attack and, while you came out of the blocks quickly in the second half, I thought we defended brilliantly and kept you quiet for a good half an hour after your initial 15 minute surge. I can see why West Ham will think they should have drawn because of the penalty but performance wise it'd have been a travesty if we had gone on to draw that game.
I had a feeling we'd get turned over today, we've got the same problem we had last year, we can't seem to put the ball in the net, we're creating chances but Maiga and Zarate are not the answer, as Allardyce quickly realised, I'd rather have a youth player or Carlton Cole than Maiga. I was surprised Ranieri's appointment was received negatively, I thought a manager of his stature was a very good capture for a provincial side that scraped relegation last term, I certainly rate him higher than our manager.
