it was a great result, but we do need front men to be scoring, and i'm not sure Grabbans the right one to do that at this level. Jerome i'm more optimistic about.

That's what I took out of this win too, god Grabban is rubbish .
Messing about near the corner flag keeping posession instead of looking for the 4th . <doh>

If you arseholes can find fault in that performance you need brain surgery.<laugh>

What a fantastic performance. Sunderland were very poor, but we were quality. Can't fault a thing, a perfect away performance. So great to get 3 points on the board! Shows what happens when we get a decent Ref!

please stop being obnoxious, you aren't adding anything. Discussing the performance of a player is fair conversation, being abusive to anyone who doesnt share your view isn't, so please, stop.

I just hope Sunderland keep Advocaat for a while yet this season, because the way they look it'll be a third of our survival job done.

He hardly had time to even warm up this afternoon. Now "we" can't slag Martin & Whittaker off so let's slag Grabban off instead. I agree he's not great but he's not as bad as made out.

Only disappointing thing was letting a goal in but overall I'm in a far better mood than I was last week. I thought Grabban did well when he came on, kept the ball when he needed too made some good runs but as we all know he need to practice on finishing. But he is a good sub to bring on when we're winning and on top.

So good to see Wes starting, Him and Redmond on the ball just looked so composed and comfortable. Both good enough for this level. Just need to look after Wes's legs.

this absolutely. He lacks nothing in effort and commitment, but i worry that we can't give away as many chances this season and still expect to win, and Grabban is by far our most wasteful striker when it comes to chances converted. We have a good squad now, but we could really do with a proper prolific striker with a bit of muscle to add to the goal tally. great game though, and i hope more teams are as obliging as Sunderland were.

I'm doing family stuff so can't really post.

Great result and performance from the lads though. Grabban as well. Not slating anyone.

Still looking forward to see who's going to be coming in. This result should help.
