Lawrenson still can't bring himself to give us a win - he thinks it will be a draw. Did he learn nothing from previous years ??
... grudgingly giving us a draw is a crumb we should be grateful for. And you are correct, he's learnt nothing
I think this will be a tough game, would love the win to carry on the good work done last weekend. I do feel however this will be the same result as last year. 2-2
We have won more points off Newcastle than any other team since promotion, so of course we are going to win LOL
Hope the club will mark the fact that we've lost 2 former players in the last week or so, think it will be fitting of the club to have a minute silence at the start of the game
It is already planned i have been told..... Last weeks game was no fluke and even i joked we would win 5-0 i still think we are a better team than previous seasons and have more about us than the toon even if they have steadied their own ship, football is so unpredictable but i think we will win our first 3 points fairly comfortably...
So after me bigging up Gomis and jumping on the bandwagon (along with Lineker) then I expect at least a brace as he destroys the toon! I actually think Newcastle will be OK this year and McClaren is a good coach, more so then a manager, but come on Gomis, don't let me down mate.
Team News Swansea City: Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Williams (C), Taylor, Cork, Shelvey, Sigurdsson, Ayew, Montero, Gomis. Subs: Nordfeldt, Rangel, Bartley, Britton, Routledge, Dyer, Eder. More of the same please lads Mitrovic on the bench for them.
Anyone got a good link ? The commentary is about 20 seconds behind the image on mine.... I watched Gomis score but the commentary was way behind.....
Thanks Valley - it's so off putting watching it when the commentary is way out of sync - the crowd cheers at the wrong point lol
