We need another DM to stop them pouring past us on the counter. Very weak so far. On another note no matter the end result that Everton kit is atrocious! Who thought that was a good idea? It looks like something some deranged survivalist will wear as he hunkers down amongst his tinned beans as he awaits the apocalypse.

 

He's the most important missing link, I agree, but with Bertrand, Toby, Forster and Clyne in you could argue we would stand better in defense even despite the way too open formation.

As soon as I saw the teams I thought this may happen. Their midfield 3 is outnumbering our two. Vic and Davis are floundering in an ocean ATM.
I think it's been a Naive selection from koeman, but hopefully he will learn from this.

 

Cannot with Davis as DM and Targett/Soares as FBs, certainly. Just don't have enough solidity to gamble on such an attack-heavy lineup, but particularly with the attack doing so little.

 

Can't stay this attacking it will end up being 4-0.

Davis doesn't work as a CM. His passing is ok but defensively... He doesn't even get in the right positions.

Romeu has come on for Tadic.

 

It does make me wonder if our famed black box is actually that good; we have known morgan is off for over a year and we manage to get a replacement this week - that's a long long time to sort that one out

We'r much better already, taking control of the match. If we started the match like this, we probably wouldn't have been 2-0 down. Romeu looks very good. Think we might have missed by subbing Tadić. There's just about some space now on the flank which he could have used to slot in a dangerous pass, while Mane is just not very effective on the wing. But you can never write him of, so I think it should have been Romeu for Long, and not for Tadić.
