So Villa have a big support but it is latent then. They will turn out when the club is doing well, but otherwise it's off to the golf course or watching the rugby and moaning how bad Villa are. Bit like Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday, also clubs with a big support.

It would be interesting to know Manchester City's support in West Yorkshire. With Leeds being so awful, are youngsters there attracted to City because of the likes of Aguero? Here in the South there has been nobody jumping on the City bandwagon.

Leeds fans are generally a bunch of inbred mongrels. So a switch to City would be a step up.

I'm struggling to think of a city in England that isnt then <laugh>

Nobody say London, once you get out the tourist areas for the most part it's a rat infested ****hole full of fried chicken takeaways.

There are pockets in all cities which are nice though.

I hate London. You can't move 10 feet without your hearing being assaulted by a drill or a siren. There's nowhere to park, most of the people are aggressive and miserable and the streets are invariably filthy. Not in Knightsbridge and Mayfair though!

London (Greater London) is overrated. And you're right ppl dont have any time for each other. Proper rat race. Worst thing is that most Londoners are proud of this. Imagine...being proud to be an ar5ehole

I wasnt just talking about rush hour. Any city centre in rush hour is similar (although I dont think anyone can say ppl in manchester dont have time for each other...take a tram or bus to see for yourself). But in London - and I mean everywhere in Greater London - it's like that for most of the day and into the night.

There hasn't up here either. There's the odd one but that's always been the case.

It's not just restricted to England. It's every city, especially the major metropolitan areas as they are now called.

A few areas are focussed on to attract tourists and the tourists tell everyone just how great xxxx city was. 3 minutes away some tramp ****s himself, scratches his arse and sniffs it. City life, anywhere and everywhere.

One of the local radio presenters is southern. She does a bit called northern bible and tries to figure us out. It's tacky filler tat but sometimes just have to laugh,

She's baffled by most of it. I suppose It would be like the someone hearing Cockney rhyming slang but for the most famous cock of them all, Danny Dyer.

It gets friendlier the further north you go. Scotland go to great lengths to make southerners feel welcome.
