Michu is one bad egg, he will never be back and I'm sure Huw has this covered, once the window closes, the ball falls back into our court, and Michu will lose control of the situation.
Well as I understand it the Tom Cleverly Institute is lobbying for free I pads . X boxes etc. for deprived kids . So I sold my lot's stuff on ebay in order to qualify ( as you do ) . My eldest who is 22 went apesh*t and was screaming for Estha Rancid to which I said, he shouldn't be looking at those sites on his laptop, and it went downhill from there ! So if your reading this Tom Cleverly , F^*k O%F ! Do gooder !
if we make him stay away, won't we need to keep paying him? If he's told to come back and refuses, he'd be responsible for breaching his contract, not us. That way we could save a bit of cash.
He's not going to breach his contract in any way, if he is still with us come the closing of the window, and is recalled back to the club he will come, he's got about 2m reasons to do so. He is effectively on gardening leave, so we must continue to pay him otherwise we will be in breach of contract, that will have serious consequences including a transfer embargo, fines and possibly docked points. It will be sorted before anything like that happens, he will be gone within about 2 weeks.
Not only that, but it would break the 'bond of trust' between club and players making it far more difficult for us to sign players we want in the future. this may help Michu move on, http://www.poundlandcareers.co.uk/
He and his agent would sue the arse of us as we would be done for ruining a players career.......he has to be given the opportunity to train and use our medical facilities and there is nothing we can do about it unless we want to get into a huge lot of trouble......the club knows this fully well....
Surely we could always agree with him to cancel the rest of his contract as Rome have just done with Cole and many other clubs have done in the past.
We would have tried that by now....dont worry it will be sorted one way or another when the window closes.......I have heard he may join west ham but they would be mad to take him....but anyone will do....
But sometimes that is the best thing to do, we would probably have to pay a percentage of it of but it does get rid of the albatross from around our neck.
Latest stuff I've heard. Got Amigos in Spain who are big time footy fans, Real Madrid, prefer Barca myself, but they love us too by the way, one of them even nicked my Swans shirt, last years, the basterd. What they say is that they've read reports, in Spain, that Michu is only looking to the Prem and Serei A (Italy) for a move. Even they said that these are coincidentally the two leagues who pay the highest wages. Also, they said that Michu has stated, what they say, that he doesn't want to return to Spain to continue his career but, and its a big but, Real Betis could be where he ends up if all else fails. Their reasoning is a bit tenuous but they tell me that Pepe Mel, the manager of Betis has the same representatives as Michu and that they are trying to strike a deal. If not then a loan to Sunderland looks favorite I think, let him go train in the cold in January.
