I've never served. But so many of my own have done so. Irritates the **** out of me that too many are so ready to belittle their service!
The Dave I meant is Canary Dave - go on the Norwich board and you'll see him No guessing where his allegiances lie, but he came up here last Easter and was a the Derby game - never heard someone who wasn't a die in the blood Mackem refer to "us" so many times. Been out with him tonight - lovely bloke And just for the record - Billy's ok for chucking bricks at
Aye, Dave's a smashing bloke. And you can lob bricks at me anytime darling. I understand all this Help For Heroes stuff. They just trying to help lads who have been removed from humanity & found themselves displaced for one reason or another. Some of the most depressed men I knew were ex service. I don't consider myself a hero - far ****ing from it, I did some awful things. The real heroes are those that fought in ww1 & 2, & all the other wars since then. All I done was poxy peace keeping, a load of ****ing bollocks. Seven tours in NI & Bosnia. It was Bosnia that screwed me up. A **** hole.
