OK, so you've moved my thread along as in 'nothing to see here' to this neck of the woods...fair do's Ripper Street?! BBC boobed by canning it because it couldn't compete with I'm A Celebrity on ITV (where TF is the comparison I ask you!) so they aired the final series on Amazon Prime (saw it and it was fkn excellent though you need to concentrate in this final screening as it's quite complex). Now Beeb is airing it and so your opinion is...? Also, Peaky Blinders BBC 2? ****in' 'ell, that's top fkn telly that is! Love that and most of it is filmed in Liverpool! Up your bums if you think I'm going to trawl through 533 pages of this ****e to see if ya've discussed the above already!
No hero in this then? Do they just fight the police? Surely Batman wouldve gone tohelp. You would neversee like X Men and Fantastic4 in the same film as they're in different universes (both Marvel but set in different fictional places). We all know Batman is in Jokers universe as are some of the other villians, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_Squad_(film) They'll get some mileage out of this so maybe heroes will come in the sequels Looks decent though This post just took ages to type ****ing keyboard
Just finished all 5 seasons of the wire. Officially my favourite series. Great characters all the way through
Went to train wreak last night. Well took the missus.... It was poor to shocking. 2 hours long and drivel.
I did finish all of band of brothers yesterday. Last two shows. The one with the concentration camp in and then the final one which is just all ending up. I must say that it has more scope and better action than anything ever on TV. . And the cast is amazing.... I looked back watching all 10 and the amount of guys in it is astounding. Fastbender turned up in last 2.... just as an example.
It's deffo one of if not the best war dramas ever. Damian Lewis is one of my fav actors, great character in BoB
Finished Humans last night, good show looking forward to more. Well into Gotham at the moment very good. Recently watched Capote which was very good.

I was disappointed/ Jumping on the yank bandwagon yet again with another multi-series farce [/QUOTE] I thought it was a good ending that they could have left as a genuine end to the show, but on the other hand it certainly has enough about it to do another series as long as it doesn't go into another and another.
Looking forward to starting Show Me a Hero the new show from David Simon guy behind The Wire... meant to be great, first two eps went out last night to v good reviews
Think I discussed this with you when you had watched about 2 episodes. I'm soooo jealous of people that have yet to see it. The best TV show by a country mile imo. A cut above The Sopranos and Breaking Bad etc. (although, they are very good still) I'm so sad I've watched it all the way through 6 times now, and I still love it everytime Favourite characters.....hmmm hard to choose. Omar, Bubbles, Stringer Bell, Bunk....... ****, so many great characters. The book is well worth a read to
A question guys... Hopefully someone will answer tonight!! Gotham is now on Netflix. I'm not too knowledgeable about Marvel characters etc. but I do know the basics. Would this be worth watching? I've heard it's very good. What's everyone's thoughts on it? Thanks in advance
Heard it's ****e to middling lad, i've not bothered with it Show me a Hero is another political / social / economic drama but about the building of housing in Yonkers, NY and in a different style to The Wire... think one of the main characters is a councillor/politician... dunno that much about it myself but has got great reviews
