So after scuppering his loan to Villa, Adebayor is now angling for a move to the Spammers.

So when that goes tits up, who's next? Burnley? Scunthorpe? Trabzonspor?

If Adebayor does move to a premier league club then he will be made my fantasy football captain, as that game rewards you for goals scored but doesn't deduct points for a bad attitude.

Unless he flounces out of their first team ahead of schedule.

Nah, flouncing too much like hard work. He'll just stand around, make the odd lazy run, maybe get himself sent off. Just **** about, basically.

Second season, but if West Ham sign him, they get (for one season only) a talented goalscorer who will no doubt play an absolute blinder against us.

It'll be a loan move so he can't play against us

So long then, Roberto Soldado. Sadly he will always be remembered for his scoring record with us, but he seemed a genuinely nice and hardworking pro, unlike some who we've seen at the club. I hope he resurrects his career with Villarreal.

Suitably vague. Wonder how much it was?

I hope that he goes back to Spain and gets back to his best. He didn't work out for us, but I never sensed that it was because of a lack of effort.
Totally inappropriate for our style of play and his form and confidence went through the floor.
Stick him in a side with wingers and a support striker and I think he'd go back to banging them in.

He's almost the anti-Adebayor. Great attitude, seemed to get on with everyone and did everything right with the fans.
One of the biggest flops that would still be welcomed back at WHL when he chooses to return.
They're in the Europa League though, rather frighteningly...

So with Poch confirming that Adebayor will never kick a ball for Spurs again, we are now down to one striker who has one season of PL experience with us under his belt. I'm hoping for a busy last few weeks of the transfer window.

In other news, Wenger confirms that Monreal will basically be allowed to leave on a free at the end of his contract. At £8million, he can be added to a growing list of costly flops who have been brought in by our quiet neighbours over roughly the same period of time that we have also been busy bringing in expensive flops.

Couldn't decide on which was his most embarrassing miss, but this would be in the top 3.

Can't disagree with him being a great pro, nice guy and clearly wanted to show the fans why the club signed him, but he won't be the last expensive flop we sign.

I see your open goal miss and I raise you this:

    <doh>

Brilliant ball by Lamela, great support run and he ballses up the angle for himself and Chadli, bottles the shot and ****s up the pass.

Biggest flop for Spurs ever and that's quite an achievement considering how many there have been over the years.

Schweinsteiger is pig climber or pig mounter, literally, pig ****er in normal usage.

This is from the same volk that brought you "battlefield" as a girl’s name. (Hildegard)

Hildegard Schweinsteiger would be the best name ever.

Blame me if he doesn’t actually sign. Or if he’s crap.
