I really hope that with this being Oxo's break out season and Walcott hopefully staying fit - then Wenger will play Sanchez and Oxo/Walcott and occasionally Ramsey on the flanks, with Santi, Ozil and Ramsey rotating in the two central positions.

I'd see Wilshere being used as the sub and in cup games, covering injuries (which there'll be plenty of no doubt), at least until he builds his fitness up, then you never know he could do 'a Ramsey' and surprise everyone with his form and displace Ramsey in the side, or put serious pressure to get in the team. Especially if we need a more direct option to Ozil in the 10 slot towards the end of the season/start of next.

'do a Ramsay'? Be brilliant for 6 months and then merely quite good for a very long time you mean?

If he comes back and plays well he should jump right ahead of Ramsay in the team standings.

Again I totally disagree with you <laugh>, hope you don't mind :)

I was talking more about the way Ramsey was written off (by one or two as a championship player), struggled with injuries and form, and then become one of our main midfielders.

He needs to actually be good consistently to be a main midfielder

You think Ramsay is consistently good?

I do, I think he's not particularly consistent and sometimes he's brilliant and sometimes he's just good, or average to poor occasionally. In the same way I think of Santi, Ozil, Kos, Merts ect.

Tbh I disagree with most of your opinions on our team and manager, which is fine and I have no problem with - it makes life interesting and helps debates. But if I don't respond sometimes it's because I don't want to come across as argumentative or shouting you down.

But you've just said he's consistently good but that's he's not consistent. Eh?

No I disagreed and disagree with your overall opinion of our players - ie you seem to have a very negative view of our team and players, while I have a more positive view.

It's not 'no'. You said 'i do' to the question of him being consistent. Then immediately said he wasn't particularly consistent.

I would say that Ramsey is consistently good (when fit) and has shown some patches of brilliance.
