Just like last year there will be close to 10 teams who will be in or around relegation positions.

Following might flirt, but stay clear.
Soton (Europa & Injuries)
Leicester (Tinkerman)

Following teams will be in the mix to the wire.

Everton (Arrogant Robbie)
Sunderland (Mackhems)
Watford (Promo team)
Villa (Another QPR like signings?)
NewCastle (Toons)
West Brom (Pulis first relegation?)
Bournemouth (Promo)
Norwich (Promo)

What do you think?

How the hell are Leicester not on that list??? Especially when Everton and Newcastle are <doh>

Unless Sunderland make another 2 or 3 quality signings before the transfer window shuts, I believe our luck will run out and we'll drop this season.

Don't think Southampton will be anywhere near relegation.

Bournemouth are nailed on to go down for me due to lack of signings.

The rest are much of a muchness. A couple of injuries and Everton could easily be in the mix. The defence and goalkeeper aren't great and the attack can be great and can be ****. If they're struggling at Xmas then Lukaku and Mirallas will be wanting out

Looks about right to me Stan. I think the relegated teams will be three from Everton, Newcastle, Villa, Sunderland, Bournemouth, Norwich.

Everton losing Baines for a few months is a big problem for them. Losing Stones to Chelsea will be an even bigger problem + Martinez has been found out as a manager.

Newcastle have an utter helmet for a manager.

Villa (see Newcastle)

Sunderland its a matter of when they go down, not if. It'll be either this season or next.

Bournemouth just don't look anywhere near strong enough.

Norwich just don't look anywhere near strong enough.

Whilst I agree all the others on your list might struggle, they will probably be ok:

Watford look the best of the promoted sides and are spending a few quid.

Leicester look quite strong and I quite like Ranieri as a manager.

Southampton will probably have enough although their Europa league campaign will undoubtedly hinder them.

West Brom have Pulis as manager. I just don't see the bloke ever getting relegated.

Everyone else will be safe as houses.

Told you.
Saints Cannot not be in relegation. They are very stale and add in EL to it.
Losing 0-3 to Toffees, that is a joke.

Stones will be the difference between relegation fight & top 10 for Everton.

It's one game of 38. Still expect Southampton to be top half.

I've just started a thread over on the Saints' board, asking those lads if their bubble has burst.

Okay, I know it's early in the season, but the signs are already there, that this season is going to be a very different season to the last one.

Sunderland may as well start playing Championship games now. Save a whole season of hurt for them.

Do we really need two clubs from the dismal North East, any way?

I'm thinking, not.
