There is possibly a sexist aspect to this, but only according to reports. It is said that she was already earmarked for demotion because a lot of the players said it inhibits their typical male banter having a woman around. If so (and only if) then she is being victimised due to her gender.
I dont want him sacked, I just want him to apologise, shut the **** up, then just do his job as a manager. (Though, as I previously said, my estimation of him has been soured by this ordeal)
What the hell has his views on women have to do with anything at all? The physio, who is male, was targetted too. There is no indication that this very same thing wouldn't be occurring if Eva was a man.
His post was probably meant to be funny but it was so uneducated and wide of the mark, he looks a bit silly now. Fully agree with you on the rest, by all reports there's a few people getting demoted and not just Eva...
Sometimes i wonder whats going through Joses mind. I guess the silver lining will be if Jose goes we can always get Klipperty Klopp!
because anyone who publically criticises their team doctor for coming onto a field when that is what they are paid to do and under instruction by the ref is clearly a man who has either lost his marbles or is well on the way to losing them. Not exactly hard to understand or maybe it is for a small mind...
Well I made the statement that I thought it was sexist and that there was maybe a bigger problem we didn't know about. The utter stupidity of the punishment as regards the "crime" was perverse. Now today there are claims Jose is not happy with a female in the dressing rooms, that the "lads" can't be natural and bond like "lads" always do in dressing rooms. If that is the truth, then it is even worse that such a phoney scenario was contrived to deal with that little problem . IF it is true. Another report from the always reliable Bodanki says some of the squad are very unhappy with Jose. This is the same Jose who had nothing but praise for his medics when we won last year. I smell a rat, and Jose will come second in this **** fight, which he wont like one little bit. He is very hard to like our Jose. Hope he sorts this mess out and hope he sorts the team out for City.[/QUOTE]
Do you deliberately come on here just to embarrass yourself? It looks like he might have made an excuse and maybe he's a sore loser. Saying it is down to mental health and people losing their marbles is just ridiculous, uneducated and quite a bigoted response.
If I were Jose now I'd take this as an opportunity to show some humility. Suck it up and say "hey I went over the top, I apologise". He'd only get credit for it and resolve any possible bad feelings between them. How obtuse is this ****, we shall soon see
This is exactly what he should do, apologise, let the medical team carry on. Speak to them if he wants to change some things and sort it out privately with them. Then all get back to playing ****ing football.
OMG, what level of reality do you live in? of course it's elitist BS, because they are the elite, elevated by the fans at your club, she's a replaceable 2 a penny physio/masseuse and Mourinho and his players aren't. And who is he? He's the boss, what he says goes,
Also, the idea that Maureen does these types of things (blaming the doctor, ball boy etc) deliberately to deflect blame away from his players is pure bollocks. He just simply reacts in a petulant way when things don't go his way and lashes out at the first thing he can. He's not a calculated master tactician at diverting attention away from his failings, he is simply an arrogant and petulant **** who can't help himself. The cracks are showing and I think there will be more of this over the season. What he has done is basically put the spotlight on his behaviour and now any little incident is going to get blown up into a full tilt ****fest.
He's unhappy at Chelsea and wants out, that's obvious. Rather like Benitez though he doesn't just walk when he's unhappy, he causes chaos so that he has to be sacked. That way he gets his full pay off and mug fans view him as some kind of wronged hero. It didn't work at Real for Mourinho, I doubt it will work at Real for Benitez either.
He has his highest win rate at Real Madrid, 71.91%. More than any other club he's managed. He also set the record for the most wins in a la liga season, most away wins in a season, most goals in a season and the highest ever goal difference in a season. He didn't win the Champions League with them but he still done alright!
I wasn't referring to his win record, I was referring to the fact that his usual exit strategy didn't make him a hero with the Real fans. They loathe him as his abrasive, arrogant manner reflected badly on the club.
Shteve, trying to be objective when it comes to Jose is not easy. As a Chelsea fan, it is even harder. The guy turns up and wins things with a style and methodology not seen before in the PL, he pisses off SAF and Wenger, the 2 incumbent big shots by beating them on the pitch and a brand of humour unique in football. Chelsea fans are ecstatic. Then the arrogance starts showing, and the whingeing, and apart from Chelsea fans, he is respected but not liked. This time around, he wins again, but the humour is mostly missing and in its place in a grumpy, complaining bloke with a persecution complex who has alienated a significant number of the fans who are his lifeblood. The " I don't care as long as he wins" mob are probably the last bastion of total support he has. Many others, and I include myself, are underwhelmed at his total disrespect for any and everyone he disagrees with and his destructive nature that puts offside the very people who are his support base. I don't know where it will end, but although I believe he is the best Manager in the game as far as winning goes, he is driving a wedge between his own fans. I hope the backlash from this affair causes him to reasses, to apologise, sort out his problems like an adult, and concentrate on improving the Team. I think all of this is a smokescreen to hide his concern that the Club has not been able to attract the players he needs to stay at the top, and like an infant, he is having a tantrum.
