Oxford and Shrewsbury are not much better. As i have been to the 3 old grounds BURTON away would be best if we do have to travel. Like Accrington was, BURTON(the Pirelli stadium) would be a new club/ground for all of us i suspect. If we do get a home tie then Sheffield Utd. At least they would bring some support with them.
Don't the free home tickets keep rolling over until all 3 are used up? Across seasons in the case we don't get 3 cup home games this time. I remember asking this and think it got clarified. One ting though, I assume season ticket holders will just get free entry to the next three home games as they come whether they choose to go or not, rather than choosing which? If you know what I mean. Be good if the next ones away then we draw a top 4 side at home and another top 4 side in the FA cup, Allams will be kicking theirsen.
They roll over, but presumably only if you remain a season ticket holder in the future seasons that they roll over to and they'll be used up whether you go or not.
My pass says "CUP" on the back. Noticed it when going to the game on Saturday. I presume it's something to do with the entry to those three games.
Colchester would be fine for me. Just 40 mins away and the new ground is only a couple of mins off the A12.
If we draw Colchester away then a few days in Great Yarmouth will be the order of the day. Break up the journey.
Indeed. If we draw Shrewsbury away, a couple of nights in Skeggie will achieve a similarly incoherent stopping point.
We had a defining moment at the the old Gay Meadow a few years back. It confirmed to me that my lad was hooked on City for life. Good times.
Yes I loved going to the Gay Meadow. The bloke in the boat who fished out the balls. R.I.P. btw. Yes good and bad times @ Gay Meadow. Shame it has now gone.
