Telling a doctor how to treat a patient is simply stupid...she can have her medical license revoked for failing to take care of a patient as it is her sworn duty to look after those she is responsible for. As Hazard told the ref he needed treatment she had a duty of care to him and that has nothing to do with the manager. It was a bizarre rant on the pitch and afterwards and the stories coming out since have made a bad situation worse...banning a doctor from thebenchfor doing their job? I suspect there will be a u turn as the media, the medical profession, players and most chelsea fans are siding with the doctor. The trouble with a u turn is that no one will be sure how mourinio will respond to being told he has to back down by the club.

Jose has made himself look a plonker in public.............................again, but this time it is bad bad bad, it could lead to destablising the whole squad. The physio was also demoted not just the doctor. The ref called the medical team on. Jose was in error and for what it is worth I think honestly in that moment when he was rapt and totally focused on the game. Hindsight has show him he was wrong to make any comment about the medical team after the match. Jose has no control over the medical team. Various campaigns have been made to highlight the dangers of concussion, something Chelsea have first hand experience with. Blown out of proportion by Jose. I'm surprised the FA or more professional bodies haven't come out yet to condemn him, and I expect a court case is being prepared if the club isn't already trying hard to fix things themselves. Jose has publicly said that he believes he should have the right to overule doctors and the referee at the expense of players' safety if he believes his team will gain a tactical advantage in doing so. Absolute twaddle mate, I'm sorry. What he did was insult the medical staff on national TV. She didn't have a dig at him at all in the slightest, just thanked the Chelsea fans for their support. Who the **** is he to determine whether medical aid is required for a player. Ok Hazard may have been faking or whatever, but if he HAD been injured and gone down and the ref had summoned the medical staff and they had refused to treat him so that we didn't go a man down, both the doc and physio would be losing their medical licenses for failing in their duty of care. If Jose felt they did something wrong, then fair enough, that's fine, pull them into the office the next day and explain it to them, don't go on ****ing TV and start calling them names FFS.
