I can't see Gordon and Welbeck as a straight swap happening. Gordon's proven Prem class, whereas Welbeck is only just coming into his own. We need to see whether his form continues after this injury before we get too carried away about him.

 

You would think with the amount of ****e Big_chris sprouts he would get something right one day. Still, don't see it happening.

 

I'm not in the least concerned about Gordon. He's a great keeper but if he goes then he goes. I think that Simon Mignolet has the ability to become the best goalkeeper that we've ever had. We will make a tidy profit on Gordon if he goes and we move on to bigger and better things.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Fergie go for McGregor from Rangers instead. Another very good Scottish goalkeeper IMO.
Plus with Rangers financial problems he could probably be picked up for a fraction of what we'd ask for Flash.

I'd be gutted if Gordon went and don;t think Ming is anywhere near Gordon's standard.

Flash kept us in the game on more than one occasion on Saturday against Blackpool, he was just as instrumental as Ricco in that victory!

Hope he stays, World Class keeper IMO

 

He fills me with ZERO confidence anytime a ball is whipped into the box. I personally would be gutted if Gordon left but see it being inevitable!

 

Once asked Man Utd fans about Gordon on 606, a couple rekon Igor Akinfeev is a suitable replacement for VdS.
