Have we all woken up in a time warp?

I'd love to see him back - can't hold it against him that he wanted to try and establish himself at LFC - he tried and failed - he did well for us before hopefully more to come.

I can understand the "tell him to F off " brigade but we love the club - Borini (like almost all professional footballers) doesn't and wants the best for himself. I struggle to reconcile the warm feeling towards Henderson (left to further his career) with the animosity towards Borini who did similar...

I'd love us to buy a proper striker but fear we will if Borini joins...

I thought his attitude was fantastic when he was here last time. Remember that brave goal he scored at home to Westbrom which sealed our safety? For a loan player at the end of the season to risk injury. It was Poyet who made us look stupid last summer not Borini. But i agree that he isnt the target man we are desparate for to lead the line. Moussa Sow would be the one for me and Defoe playing off him..

I didn't think you'd go back for this nugget to be honest, what's the fee? Anything over £7m and Liverpool have had your pants down.

Interested to hear where Dick Advocaat sees Januzaj playing in that system, I'd assume Borini would be left sided, Lens right and Defoe central. As a United fan, I'd be unhappy with him being a sub, especially behind Borini. Maybe this loan isn't on at all.

Januzaj would play on the right replacing AJ i reckon. Borini on the left with Lens playing more central...just my opinion like.

Really don't know why we haven't gone in for him mate. He's the battering ram we need up top and perfect for the Prem league..

Funny, Borini seemed to think he was good enough to replace Suarez last season, I think the lad should have went to Sunderland and earned his stripes instead of pretending he was better than you lot. Now his only option is a return to Italy, so he's scratching around asking to go back to Sunderland. I'd tell him to get back in his ****ing bin.

Pedro's release clause is yet to be met by us mate, £22m apparently, looks like we only want to pay £15 or something. The deal might be completed soon. Rumour down here is LVG is prepared to let Januzaj leave on loan, but wants a recall in place and the two teams who are interested in taking him want him for the full season only, with no recall clause.

Agree mate would be ideal for us, getting on abit at 29 but a 3yr deal would be ok with me..

    Lens in the hole.

Your left side looks weak to me with that system.

Surely this will be a purchase but the Liverpool board says this is nearly a done loan deal.

I think if your in our current predicament mate and based on his performances of us on loan then it'd be fair for him to return.. We don't have the luxury of getting rid of ADM and making De Gaea wash cars for fun <laugh> If it comes to the crunch you reckon you'll pay 22? I think so myself mate you's need Pedro like.. If Januzaj does come on loan then I reckon we'll have first dibs cause of LVG and Dicks history.. We have a good record of Man Utd players coming here on loan.. Your fav Evans was decent, welbeck too!

Our right isn't any better Terry. Both full backs are dodgy in defence but at least with Van anhault ame Borini we would have plenty of pace down the left. But i def think Januzaj will replace AJ and we need to make sure there is no call back clause on him...
