I don't agree but then that comes down to...
a) your opinion on those individual players and we all know what you think of Skrtel and Hendo; and
b) what you consider to be mid-table

IMO, Skrtel isn't great but he's not as bad as you suggest and you vastly under appreciate Hendo's contribution to the team too (but you're entitled to your opinion). Mid-table should be the middle third so about eighth to thirteenth (six teams), all four of the players I named are better than eighth!

 

i agree skertl is not top 4 but he's better than a player at a club aorund 9th - 12th in the prem....

smae for henderson.. if he had not signed a new deal it was virtually sure city would have bid on him... he's first choice england even though that means nohting.

you are hot to tro t on sturridge who was england first choice but not on henderson... i dunno

Funnily enough of all the players we are discussing a few have already been in a Liverpool team that finished 2nd and nearly won the league so saying they aren't top 4 standard is obviously complete ****e

the record of finishes before that and since would seem to point to something different 2nd, 7th, 6th, 8th, 7th, 2nd, 6th

that should be suggesting something of a trend....

 

How many times have they finished 2nd and nearly won the league with us? ...

And how many times did they do that without a so called genius in Luis Suarez leading them ...?
