How totally pathetic that a grown man could apply a ban from training, matches and the team hotel to the Club doctor. No doubt Dr. Eva will resign as there is no way she can do her job. Methinks Jose is just a tad sexist, verging on mysogynous, as well as showing a delusional sense of self importance. Perhaps Dr. Eva may have pointed out the latter at some stage, which is why she's been banned? What she and the medics did deserves no such punishment. As for the " offence", I was under the impression the medics can only go onto the pitch at either the direction of the referee or the beckoning of the player. So which one was it? Hazard is no wimp, so if he asked for assistance, the medics have absolutely no choice but to give it. If the referee called them on, then they go on. he's in charge, not Jose. Jose on the sidelines is in no position nor has any qualifications to judge the extent of the injury or the call made. He should stick to improving the team and getting results, neither of which is evident so far this season, and let the specialists do their job. Completely against Jose on this one, and Roman should tell him to do his job and let the others do theirs.
I thought this was just the classic find a story to distract from the fact the team didnt play well. I dont know if Jose actually does think about that kind of thing too much, but it would certainly make more sense than kicking what is arguably the best medical team in the league.
This leaves a bad taste. At the time I thought it was a little naïve knowing Hazard would have to leave and he clearly wasn't injured (just a body check from memory so at worst a little winded). However if it's true either the player or ref asked for the medical staff to come on, then Jose is venting in the wrong direction (if he should be venting at all). Unfortunately this is classic Jose, deflecting away from the errors made in the game that actually cost us the points. Notably Willian's and Courtois' role in the sending off / pen incident. To now ban Eva just throws more bad spotlight on the club and adds to what has been a pretty piss poor few weeks since we got back from the break, performance and results, transfer market and publicity all but ideal. All this as well before what is on paper, our hardest game of the season - which we will lose the way things are going at the moment.
Yeah this is all a distraction, and is Jose venting his anger at the fact that we dropped points. The guy needs to calm the **** down and stop being so petulant.
Hazard is priceless, he says he takes painkillers after every game. I'm not sure how Jose knows that when he goes down that he isn't seriously hurt because everyone else knows that something that looks innocuous can actually be very bad indeed. The actual contact may of looked ordinary, but I'm sure Eva is monitoring the accumulated affect of the abuse Hazard suffers. I could go on forever but the upshot is Jose should, if he hasn't already, personally apologise to Eva.
Perhaps Mr Mourinho should tell his players not to go down like a sack of **** at the slightest contact? Just a thought like.
On a side note, the whole having to leave the field of play thing is bullshit anyway. Fair enough if you need treatment off the pitch but why should the fouling team get an advantage when the game has already been stopped and treatment given on the pitch...which is all that happens 90% of the time. Not only did our counter attack get broken up by a cynical foul but then we end up a man down for the next wave of play. Ridiculous.
To be fair, you could label that at almost every team in football. Plus Hazard gets continuously fouled.
The leave the pitch was to stop player going down 'like a sack of ****' . I think it has had some affect. I have permanently scarred legs, a displaced pelvis and an Achilles injury which hasn't healed in eight years and I never played at any Professional level. I never dived or went down easy. I was a defender. I was kicked, punched elbowed, sledged, pushed most often off the ball, quite often when the ball was in the other half. I think some Posters could do with being kick and tripped a whole lot more to get an inkling of understanding. So you get a slight nudge and suddenly those two kicks you got thirty minutes ago come back with a vengeance. We don't live in five second bundles measured by a little digital clock at the top right of our vision.
How right you are, even a slight knock can cause a fair old injury. We know players at every club dive like Tom Daley , but when Hazard stayed down knowing the consequences, I think its fair to assume he was injured. If not then hes the one needs a bollocking, not the medics. If it was the refs call, then so be it. Jose is well out of order here, and I hope the fans tell him so. I'm already tiring of his petulant, bad humoured whingeing. He needs to get a mirror and have a long hard look. I'm getting the feeling all is not well with Jose at CFC, I hope Im wrong.
Same here mate to be honest. He started behaving in a similar fashion at the end of his last stint here, and toward the end of this time at Madrid. Just whining petulantly about every single little thing that he perceives as an injustice. This is weird. I am not sure why I am turning on him. We have played one match and drew, its not like we are in trouble. Yet I have this feeling of dread about this season, which is something I haven't had in a long time. (Since maybe 1995).
Losing to Wenger has completely destroyed Jose. It was the one manager he always had one over. It was his go to confidence builder when things were tough. Now that confidence has been shattered he is like a little school boy lashing out to prove he still has control. I told you this season is his last and I have yet to see anything which will prove otherwise. Even if he signs a new deal we all know that means FA to him if the going gets to much to bare. In all honesty and this is not a wumming attempt but I think his 1st choice club was United because the way he would suck Fergies plums at any given media opportunity was cringing. Moyes got the job and Jose went to his second choice club. The rest is history....
Came on here as fellow Arsenal fans are pretending football doesn't exist and thought I'd cheer myself up reading this thread. Shame on you all for being grounded and sensible you boring barstewards!
Because 'waffle was all it deserved. Somewhere in there, there may have been a good point but to start it off insinuated the greatest manager of his generation has been 'destroyed' by losing a glorified friendly is, at best laughable, at worst delusional.
Yeah losing to the total **** show that is Wenger completely destroyed him Even when we get a **** opening day result, Arsenal have to try trump us by going one better and getting an even ****ter result. Is it Wenger in or out today?
On the face of it yes it's just a defeat in a friendly but I can't believe your naivety. Jose has Zero respect for Wenger so when you lose to a man you have zero respect for in a friendly or otherwise will completely destroy you inside. It destroys your confidence in your abilities and judgement and what we are seeing is the countdown to the Jose self destruction mechanism which usually comes into play around season 2/3.
Back to the thread topic, has this banning been confirmed by the club or is it just based on "reliable sources"? If so, wouldn't be surprised to see her back on the bench at the weekend.
