Andy Dwyer Chris Pratt or Quill Chris Pratt?

    There's a big difference!

It seems Mr Hyde was offered the job, but he's gone missing.

He actually introduced himself to us as 'Mungo - yes that is my real name'.

It's a shame Christopher Lee died, he'd have been perfect for the dark lord Assem.

I met Mungo just the other week also (not related to this project). Seemed a nice guy. This looks a really interesting project.

I'm tempted to Photoshop a poster of this with the actors/actresses mentioned.

Hull City name change saga set to be made into a play

please log in to view this image

THE long-running saga over Hull Cityowner Assem Allam's attempt to change the club's name is set to be turned into a play.

Mr Allam has twice had his application to change the club's name to Hull Tigers rejected by the Football Association.

The issue has divided fans over the past three years.

Now Hull-based theatre company Middle Child Theatre has joined forces with the Hull City Supporters' Trust to develop a new play.

Producer Mungo Arney said: "We are thrilled to be working so closely with the Hull City Supporters' Trust and can't wait to get started on developing this piece.

"We hope this marks the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship between these two local organisations."

Promising to include views from both sides of the debate, the play is expected to be staged in Hull in May next year.

    Are there only two sides?

It'll be interesting to see how they can represent the Allamists without coming across as just taking the piss.

I think there'll be a few from all sides that will need a lot of poetic license to avoid looking like a Perry/Croft farce.

Maybe, with different views been held on each side, a bit like the different sections of the East and West Stands. Plus Tenfoot's Hull City Tigers on the centre spot (and in the limelight).

I'd better warn them about TFT, he'll be claiming he did everything on his own. <laugh>

Maybe, but some of the views on each side could place them in either group, no matter how it's designated. To call it "both" sides is a bit simplistic.

It'd be good for TFT to get centre stage. He was that one that produced the most global publicity for the issue after all. If nothing else, the fun of watching the others trying to push him out of their place could be worth the entrance fee. <laugh>

I thought it was his mate's idea and he just helped carry it. I'm not sure he got us the most global publicity, but it did polarise the debate and brought us a lot of support.
