If he'd saved the first 5 penalties doing cartwheels and backflips I might agree he'd redeemed himself, but he let three months n and now I think he's even more **** than I did this morning, which I didn't think was possible.
Assuming they don't change the photo on this page, have a look at the range of emotions on this picture as the shoot out finishes. I guess when you are one of those that miss the penalty you have to be a bit careful in showing too much delight..... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/capital-one-cup-round-up-6236537
You remember it completely wrong. Can't remember if it was you I had it out with at the time but someone defended him to the hilt when he faked his injury after ****ing up twice in one game. It turned out two days later there was NO bruisng and NO anything whatsoever. Whoever it was I had argued with on here after the game sent me a PM saying they realised that I was right all along and no hard feelings. The replay showed **** all happening to him and in an effort to get his embarrassed arse off the pitch he feigned injury leaving some poor bastard to fill his boots. It was shocking. He's ****, he was **** and he's still ****. He gets stick because in what's probably a handful of games he's featured for us he's made about 40 errors, 15 monumental errors and numerous of these have directly led to is conceding goals. I hate slagging players off, but I also hate idolising every one of them. Jak is god awful for us and that he day je got stretchered off, he completely faked it.
Prior to his gaffe against Wednesday, he'd kept 3 consecutive clean sheets. He was also pretty good in the Tottenham league cup game and the Man U game in the PL. Easily forgotten when a keeper actually performs, so easy to criticise mistakes. I remember the same people telling me Jakupovic was **** were the same people telling me that Meyler was a great midfielder with battling qualities and a decent passing range. None of which is true. Turns out he's a complete dickhead who's one redeming quality is to appeal to a working class City who appreciate a scrapper, hence why he feels the need to square up to every **** who tackles him. He even did it tonight against Accrington ****ing Stanley.
I don't over rate Meyler. He runs about a lot and I think could do a job for us at this level as he has before... but his passing is atrocious. He pops up with a fairly vital goal now and again buy he's one of the very few promotion team players who we've wanted to keep that haven't had interest in them. Jak might have kept clean sheets. How many shots did he save in those games? If the 'defenders doing their job' logic can be used to defend his errors... The thing that baffles me is this... McGregor isn't great. He makes mistakes. He starts most games for us and probably drops a major clanger once every 4 or 5 games, which is shocking. Jakupovic has a really embarrassing **** up at least every other game. He did it tonight again... that's why we're talking about it.
Nah just steep, 2km long inclines. The other week I played two games of football on the Saturday then did a 10km fun run the next morning. Hatty really is a fatty.
I did that run for 30 years ST starting with the first in 1971. 80,000 entrants this year. What time did you manage?
Sadly a poor time in comparison to a few years ago, 1hr23 minutes.. was hoping to improve on my 1hr17 minutes from 2013. Heartbreak Hill absolutely killed me.
That faking was shocking, it even looked like he was faking at the time, I find it hard to see beyond it and I'll be quite happy when he's released at the end of this season. And he definitely will be.
Best I ever managed was 73 minutes. Looking at the results you have beaten nearly 60,000 other entrants with that time. Good effort!
Bruce seemed as pissed off with him as I've seen him publicly RE one of our players. Surely a new keeper coming in on loan.
Thanks! Was competing with a group of mates and wasn't last in the group so wasn't too bad. Would like to be doing a bit better though. 73 minutes is a very impressive time!
