Done good there...... but what an absolute thriller, end of seat nail biting stuff ! Can see you going all the way on this form !
In all seriousness, ET was the last thing we needed, even f it sounded like we we just strolling along at a gentle trot. Was it a tiring game or more like a training session?
Bit ott there. What I like in that video, is for number 3 the taker even gets booked for it. (that, and number 7 which for me at least is the thumbnail of the video)
Just so you know, as you get easily confused, my posts are takng the piss. Sadly, posts like Sterling are probably real. He's defended Jak after every error (aka every match he's played).
It all depends on the pace and physicality of the game. End to end with lots of digs and niggling digs will slow our lads down for Sunday. Bruises and scrapes don't heal in 5 days. 210 minutes in 3 days is tiring on the muscles, I'm in good shape for a non professional sportsman, I did about 10km walking on Wednesday and tweaked my hamstring a bit just from stepping on a rock, it's not painful but if I had 5 a side tonight it'd have given out properly within 5 minutes if that. Footballers are still human, they still damage and heal like the rest of us.
I can never forget the Sheffield Wednesday moment. You're right though, we really do need someone in to challenge Jak and Greegsy. But who?
210 minutes is nothing, I do at least an hour in the gym 4-5 times a week and I'm nowhere near the fitness levels of a footballer. I understand what you're saying about niggles and healing, but I honestly think they'll be fine.
This. If they can't pull up after a League Cup Tie on a Tuesday night in time for a Sunday lunch time game we have some seriously unfit players.
