where else could you talk about the evils of thatcher, the wrongs of Tory policy in the miners strike, the myth of global warming, petrol prices, a small town on the east coast, Internet security, charity work in sarf London and still have time to talk footie?

    Top work everyone.

How about the unbridled joy of Pommie ex-pats celebrating their team winning the ashes?

I feel like you do it more slyly these days by getting 60 riled up and then just watching on.

Saw our Chesh getting spat out by the lads on the hull board. Tried to find a way in, but they spat the poor lad out in pips. We need a better plan.

New one please if anyone uses the Crossgates centre beware if you entre on the centre parking area just as you approach there is a car park on the right which I very foolishly parked whilst Moe went to a cash point machine round the corner now I have been parking there for years not leaving the car just waiting like a good husband does I was parked exactly 3 minutes to day I got a letter from a firm called park watch saying I owe them £60 for parking in a designated are ..No wonder it was so empty! For once I am at a loss and for me that says something! Does anyone know anything about these robbing so and so's because I would like toi have some form of argument any ideas gratefully received

Ignore the letter, do not reply. Do not respond when they send the next one. They will threaten you with court action. Ignore it.

Legally you have entered into a contract by parking. But under contract law they can only recover the monies they have lost by you parking there. As the car park is free and they didn't even need to go out and issue a ticket they lost nothing. Google private land parking ticket if you don't believe me.

    No need to thank me.

It's not council that's all that matters. Don't pay, don't respond, ignore the threat of legal action. For the reasons above they won't Persue. They rely on people just coughing up.

No Aski its further north about 100 yards the centre entrance which is only very small but just before the entrance there is parking for staff and owners I suppose but at the time no one was parked and as I only waited 3 minutes it never dawned on ,me that I was doing anything really untoward

Your call... But if you engage with them you will never shake them off. You must know a solicitor they would confirm what I said for free.

Say nothing... Ignore it. They will send bigger and bigger threats but won't go to court to win the price of the stamp. They can't claim costs. But you would be able to...... As I said you must know a solicitor they will confirm contact law applies.
Nor could they record it as a debt and affect your credit score... They are preying on people who believe they have the law on their side. They don't!
