To be fair, Oliver is probably the best ref around at the moment, although I thought the guy on Sunday was very fair.

 

I thought he made some excellent decisions too. The turned down penalty shouts against Maya and Jay were very good calls indeed.

 

He must be the most secure manager in the EPL.

So this guy thinks that not only is it extremely rare for his club to get a win against a top side, but they are also unlikely to do it again. No other explanation for having this permanently inscribed on your body. We have far more faith in Saints.

What's the point of Courtois appealing? Sure, Gomis was already going down when he tagged him, but it's a red all day long.

On futher thought, it's equally possible he was just anticipating the hit.

The doctor who attracted criticism from Mourinho when she and a physio went onto the pitch has been removed from matchday duties. Can understand his annoyance, but hardly likely to happen again....surely doesn't warrant that. I think I'd ask him what his medical training was, then walk....but I guess the money is too good.

 

I didn't see the incident. But I know Koemans primary concern would be the players health. Mourinho is a nob looking for excuses.

 

We're only a game into the season, and already he's trying to deflect attention off his own team's shortcomings. Love it if she went to City.

 

Yes, read this earlier. If Mourinho is the cause of this demotion then he's a prize twerp. As a medical professional the prime concern is the player's health. If the Medic had decided to not go onto the pitch, and the player was actually injured, that would have been wrong.
I'm a great admirer of Mourinho, but he's played a mind game too far there. He should publicly apologise [as he has publicly chastised them] to the medical staff and their structure should be restored.
