Palace paid something like £6m for him from Peterborough two or three seasons ago, think he was their record signing at the time. It was quite a big story, I'm sure it would have been on the local news. Posh had spent almost a million quid on him from Dagenham & Redbridge a year or so before that, he's played in the Premier League quite a lot the past couple of seasons, he's not totally unknown at all. Not worth £10m though, don't see him playing as the lone striker and for that type of striker I'd rather see Ricky get at least a game or two.

Yea, the question was if you have to play 2 up front, so yes, if we were down and needed goals. Or basically, who's our strongest two attackers. I'd say Jerome, then Hooper. To me, that's a pretty weak striking line up for this seasons Premiership.
