Thank you very much for these HHTFC1. I think the terrace which has been dug up is the very last part of the old Vic that was there when I first went there.
Same here, I think the family stand was situated in that section at some point also when you think of how the stadium was just 14months ago it is amazing how much has been done
The club have applied for planning permission to use land behind the service station on the corner of Occupation Road for the Sky mobile studio vans use on match days. HHTFC, did the boarding in front of the Red Lion garden appear to be associated with the other works going on?
HHTFC, did the boarding in front of the Red Lion garden appear to be associated with the other works going on?[/QUOTE] It looked to be the same hoarding as used on other areas of the ground. Not that this means anything, but I think it is not coincidence. Honestly I don't know, but gut feel is that it is something to do with the club....does anyone know if that land was part of the red lion? Or did it have a separate land title?
Well Baz was discharged from his latest bankruptcy earlier this month, so the insolvency practitioner would have wanted to get everything cleared up if possible. The pub itself is not that viable in it's present form, so if as reported the club gave the deeds to the practitioner he would have sold it to the best bid he could get. Being so close to the ground it is quite possible that the club see a different use for it and could buy it for a fairly small sum. I had assumed that the land was one piece, but don't really know.

http://www.skysports.com/football/n...re-closest-to-capacity-in-england-last-season I found this survey that sky sports have done but Watford's position in it is different as they have the end of season possible attendance value
Has anyone got any updated photos? I'm going to the Seville friendly on Friday so will be keen to see how the changes look - as well as how the team perform!
Someone writes that they passed the Vic today and the brickwork to Vicarage Road is now covered in black cladding with the exit doors painted red. Photos anyone who is going to the game Friday? Seems as if the whole place is being given a facelift. Hope it doesn't sag after a few years.
Nice touch on the back of the stand. Seems as if it goes on there in two places. No wonder SEJ said the club was in safe hands. please log in to view this image It would be good to know how all the other works are progressing.
is that an old photo or have they put the scaffolding back over the directors seats????? methinks an old photo, but I could be wrong
