you mean too shot and bad value then. I think in fairness they've been bet down by the amount of utd fans who do bet* I think having seen cheslea and arsenal thus far one would have to assume utd will be up there or thereabouts in march 8 must be said in memory of foredeckdave.
Exactly. There is no way Utd can win title this year but there are millions of United fans who Remember the safad days when SAF owned the refs. Bookies have to make money no matter who wins. So if all the United fans back United they have to shorten the odds. Doesn't mean United have 1 in 5 chance of winning. Used to happen with us too. We used to get ridiculously short odds before we all became pessimists.
Manchester City Favourites For Premier League Title After First Round Of Fixtures After a comfortable win away against West Brom, William Hill have cut the price of Manchester City winning the Premier League from 3/1 to 7/4 making them favourites in the process. “Manchester City perhaps had the most difficult task of the top three in the betting (City, Chelsea, Arsenal), yet came out of it unscathed and produced a terrific performance to boot,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “As far as the title race is concerned, City have already drawn first blood.” William Hill Odds: 8/1 Yaya Toure to win PFA Player of the Year 25/1 Yaya Toure to be Premier League top scorer Premier League winner: 7/4 Manchester City; 2/1 Chelsea; 9/2 Arsenal; 11/2 Manchester United http://sports.williamhill.com/bet/en-gb/betting/y/5/Football.html Share
I would say Yaya has gone into every ff team too. But seriously there's no question that city showed they are not a weak as I thought at least.
I think Steve Martin's knee had a role in a movie about this. City have a decent chance but it's still Roman's bank account that is likely to win.
WILLIAM HILL'S TITLE ODDS: Chelsea 2/1 Man City 7/4 Arsenal 9/2 Man Utd 11/2 Liverpool 16/11 Tottenham 200/1. Maybe there is dark horse *Like Everton who knows?.
Latest William Hill's title odds: 7-4 Man City. 2-1 Chelsea. 9-2 Arsenal 5-1 Man Utd. 16-1 Liverpool 200-1 Tottenham. 350-1 Southampton. Where are the dark horses?.
there won't be any.. City and Utd for me will be top 2.. therefore utds odds at 5/1 are ridiculously long. Arsneal looks short at CM and ST as everyone is saying and so will be adrfit. Cheslea look the weakest of the top 4 as it now stands.... I love how expectations get flipped aorund. 6 months ago yaya was done/ he came back from ACN looking fat and unfit and never recovered.. a good preseason and he is back top best and city look like they've best shape and are ready to go. Utd are solid if uninspiring so far.. LFc look to be chasing arsenal and even chelsea not city now.... which isn't good.
United have been utter gash in their first two and have been lucky as **** to come out of those with the points they have. OG in the first game and deflected onto the post and in in the 2nd match. ****s
Sometime you need luck to win the title...officials overlooking things also, like not giving a second yellow card to players.
