I don't think Liverpool are that dissatisfied with him. He was injured last season and will be hoping to do better this season. We wouldn't pay a fraction of the price that Liverpool did either.

I seriously doubt anyone back here wants him. I noticed Jose posted his fantasy football team on Instagram - littered with ex-Saints. But no Adam. He's got Lovren accompanying him at CB, Morgan in CM, Boruc as reserve keeper, and even Rickie up top.
Sadly they'll all be looking at Bale and thinking that's their trajectory. No one will look at the flops and reconsider.
For the record, Oxlaide-Chamberlain will have a great season if he can avoid injury. He's been one of arsenals best players in pre-season
Ah, if only he hadn't kissed the badge and grown that beard before agitating for a move! The fact is that he was one of the most talented players we have ever had, but shone with us because he was given licence to roam, not stick to a formation. During the latter half of the season before last he had earned his call-up. He might still come good if he can avoid injury this season but I share the amusement that he took such a bite from Liverpool's transfer kitty to so little end. I hope he has a very average season
Btw, I believe that beard is only on loan from the estate of the late Jimmy Hill, and he might not be able to extend the lease beyond three seasons.
I think "one of the most talented players we have ever had" might be slightly over-egging the pudding there Channon. I can think of quite a few, including your namesake, that I'd put ahead of him. Now I may be looking back through patchy-beard glasses here as well, but he had a (maybe one and a half) good season in the top league for us, but was also prone to injury, slightly wasteful in terms of end product, and tended to only last 60 minutes. I'd take Mané ahead of him any day, and I don't see Tadic as a lot worse - and that's just two players, in his position, that *currently* play for us - let alone in our history.
They could send him to Coventry so his 'beard' is closer to Jimmy. Infact I'd pay a lady godiva to see him riding to Banbury cross. (Not sure about naked though)
Well I didn't say top 3 or anything! I do think that during that 1.5 seasons, particularly the latter 0.5, that his skill on the ball and ability to turn defenders inside out was a joy to watch. I still have the red and white specs under the beardy specs. It makes it difficult to see clearly.
No. I never know anything - I almost exclusively conjecture (bar the sole time I did know, re: Chambers to Arsenal). I'm fairly confident I'm right, though.
You could have the scenario one day where the players stay at SFC because they want to win things. Apologies for letting my optimism show. It's an awful thing, I know.
Okay, I have finally bitten on this thread - I saw the thread minutes after it was first posted and could have been the first to respond but then thought 'no comment' - but I am weak-willed (yes I admit it ) so... ... I have to ask - why are we even bothering to discuss him anymore???? Good - written it and got it of my chest!!!
