To be fair, I cheered at the end of Mad Max, I wanted to watch it again straight away. Jurassic World is actually not bad, it's obviously nowhere near the original, but it's a good popcorn monster movie.
Or as TigerRoo calls him, Prince Harry... Pratt is ace. He's ****ing great in Guardians of the Galaxy, and his performance in this was probably the best thing about it. I can see him getting the Indiana Jones reboot. (Which shouldn't be happening for obvious reasons) I'd prefer him to do an Uncharted movie over Indiana Jones.
Speaking of Indiana Jones, wouldn't mind Pratt as a young Han Solo, but probably wouldn't get the gig. Don't think he's got the right edge for Star Wars.
No thank you. He's already playing Marvel's equivalent of Han Solo (and Indiana Jones) with Star Lord.
Just noticed this. Says a lot about the diminishing quality of Hollywood that none of these are original franchises. There are very few truly original movies any more.
There are some great movies which are original out this year too, I just listed the big names, which are obviously big names because they are franchises.
Just because a film isn't original doesn't mean it can't be good. Also, of the dozens of films I've seen this year, IMO 2 of the 3 best are original. Mad Max, Kingsman: the Secret Service and Inside Out. The latter two obviously being original, Kingsman being an adaptation of a graphic novel and Inside Out being an original Pixar production.
Actually there is, the scene of all the imperial storm troopers is new. There was another trailer with a different angle but this hasn't been seen before.
I think the opening clip is the only new bit, and the rest is just cut differently, but the same footage from previous trailers.
