I am going to vote for Corbyn. The Labour party will be damaged by infighting if he doesn't win so it's better that he does and we get an immediate fracture. The outcome will definitely be the end of the party as a major force in British politics and an SDP style split, only this time most of the MP's will break away rather than just a few. But it's nearly five years until the next election. I will leave though after 41 years.
Absolute Bollocks you have, me the media have no idea whether that will happen or not. Just because he's left it doesn't mean the whole party will lurch off ultra left as with tory back benchers there will be discussions, compromises, deals done etc. If you look at his policies a lot of them by the polls over 50% of sample agreed with the policy. So you think renationalising railways (that won't cost anything if you just let franchises expire btw) and utilities given how much the public hate the big 6 and their profits that's a vote winner. There was an article recently in the press showing the breakdown of votes etc. All those naysayers you keep touting your opinions as facts, it's REALLY irritating. Personally I can see all these constant (and unreported) anti-austerity demonstrations voting for him. Remember 63% DIDN'T vote tory. Also libdems are done now Corbyn could pick up all their votes too. All to play for just please stop writing labour off with him as leader it's not fact, in fact it's amazing he's doing so well considering the constant character assassination & misquotes by the media.
I think that is wrong inasmuch as I think they will cease to exist and there will be a realignment of the centre-left vote around a new party with a broadly Social Democratic agenda. Such a wide coalition could unite the anti Tory vote.
Well if you think that the silent majority who don't put bloody flags up in their gardens, posters in their windows etc etc will vote for this throwback to the 70s then you are very much mistaken my friend.
It's not even that "friend" it's this constant ****ing TELLING us what will happen, if you can tell me where you get concrete information on the FUTURE perhaps you could get me the ****ing lottery numbers. Stop presenting your OPINION as fact it's really annoying and to be honest worse than the bloody tabloids owned by Murdoch. Fair enough you have an opinion, I have an opinion, everyone does but bloody hell change the record if he wins the labour party might split they might lose 10 elections in a row or we might all get wiped out by a great big ****ing rock from space. The only fact here is labour lost the election by being hey we're just like the Tories but not quite as bad. Labour need to go away and come up with some original ideas imho if any of the others win they'll be ****ed.
You seriously need to chill out mate or you'll give yourself a heart attack, yep it's just my opinion and that is all. **** me I promised myself I'd leave this thread alone and stick to football I'm bloody livid with myself !
Yeah long day nearly crashed into by lunatic whilst I was towing got a serious migraine hungry, kids reduced missus to tears earlier so not the best of days so sorry but I'm just sick to the back teeth of ppl saying death of Labour, lose the next xx elections etc etc. Fact of the matter is the other 3 don't have a unique policy nor personality between them. Burnhams killer idea to stop MPs serving more than 25 years - genius that's what's wrong with the country he's nailed it. The others are as bad they're a joke. Maybe he will split the party maybe he won't. He's the only one to commit to the possibility of putting the others into his cabinet & also a 50/50 male female split in his cabinet. We'll see what happens but to write labour off now before he's even elected is just daft. Sorry you got it, wrong place wrong time.
I hope Romanian gypsies set up camp in KIO's village and start a turf war with all the Muslims holding their Sharia court in the community hall.
Chip chip chip goodbye majority Mr Cameron http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/tax-credit-cuts-even-tory-6229432 Few more vote with their consciences and that wafer thin majority Tory government will crack. Considering its only been a few months you have to wonder how long till he's in big trouble. Quite honestly I can see a Green/Labour/SNP anti-tory alliance combined with a few Tories defying the whip..... Let's keep our fingers crossed, these cuts to working tax credits aren't exactly going to "make work pay" surely going to have the opposite effect
Unfortunately there are a lot of I'm all right & the daily mail are never wrong. Too many people get their news from bigoted press with political agendas it is changing slowly as social media gets the real story out there when the press ignore it.
