Yes inconvenient truths are boring for the deluded. And there is no one more deluded than a Leeds fan who thinks they are still a top club.
United that is so common, when people talk about United they think of Manchester and erm erm the other big teams called something United. Leeds are small club but need to stand out from the others so I think they need a name change. One word is best and shorter is better, Shwhite will be good, it put together all the traditional parts of the club. I thank you very much, your welcome Dr Allam
I'm going to go against the grain here as I don't know why there is all this talk of TWS etc it has appeared many times on many threads on this forum for some reason. I am no Leeds supporter but if we could assemble a team anyways as good, as fearsome or with so many 1st class internationals as Leeds Utd of the 60's, 70' and maybe 80's then I would be highly delighted. Norman Hunter, Jack Charlton and Billy Bremner in defence, an attack with Alan Clark and Mick Jones and that's without mentioning the rest of the team of internationals. We would be frothing at the mouth with todays equivalents so much class, yes they were known as dirty bar stewards but so were many others players of the day that's the type of football it was then, ask Peter Storey or 'Chopper' Harris. We got a couple of those players well past their prime but they were still too good to play for us, Billy Bremner I saw a few times and he was class amongst sh*t in that City team of the day, Eddie Gray was too knackered by the time he came to City to be effective. We could really dream with a team like they had.
It's safe to say Hull City has been Yorkshires númber one club for almost 10. straight years !!! Of those same ten yrs TWS will be luck to consistently make the top six.
I offered a swap of owners when you lot started throwing bricks at yours..... What we will have is two cracking games with a great atmosphere....

brave words but very true and Leeds were never our true derby, it was Grimsby that said, I don't like their fans, you know which ones, I was in Turkey when the Galatasaray events happened, nobody deserves to die but they didn't help their cause by acting like mindless idiots abroad. I "supported" them against Besiktas a year or so later just to piss off the locals but that's all in those crazy days it was Yorkshire together for me.
