    Canter?

Don't you mean Cantor, the club's Jewish prayer-leader? He looks after the players' spiritual well-being, especially Tal Ben Haim.

Of course it would be sad and possibly uncomfortable to have an all non -British XI; regardless of any political opinions it would be undeniably against what Football Clubs stand for...

But the problem would be more in the fact that should it happen this season it'll be a **** foreign XI which we can't relate to.

If for arguments sake the team was:

    Kiely
    Hreidasson
    Costa
    El Karkouri
    Kishishev
    Rommedhal
    Smertin
    Semedo
    Jensen
    Di Canio
    Kermorgant

Then would there be a problem?

Note. It was actually quite hard to think of an all time foreign XI from recent memory that consisted of relative fan favourites. Hence Smertin's inclusion. Which goes to show our proud heritage of British players I guess!

    Saturday's prospective team

    Pope
    Solly, Baeur, Diarra, Fox
    Gudmundsson, Ba, Kaski, Cousins
    Watt, Makienok

So we have three English, one Welsh and one Scottish. So nearly half of the team are British.

As Super alluded to further down, a couple yes we have kept and play in the first team. Solly = knees. Anyone who is a gem is gone, without influencing our team results for any length of time and even worse for small change in the end.

I forgot Holland, sorry. I remembered Pouso. Hence his exclusion. Smart in was class though; had he stayed that full season we may have achieved something win that midfield three of Smertin Kishishev and Murphy.

Not just English but all our own products. Well, Bury Town gave Pope a good start.

The irony is that Pope and Solly were our two best players yesterday, and even Fox managed to run a stone above his handicap mark (Super will appreciate that one....)

Cousins was his usual robust self played out of position. As I mentioned after the pre season friendlies, the risk with Karzi, Ba and Cousins is that they all tread on each other in midfield.

Not impressed with Aherne Grant at all. Looked lost.

I thought Kashi and Baeur were our best players yesterday. Pope and Solly were good but if they were Foreign would they have been given top marks?

You must have been watching a different game to me then Royston either that or you have your racist head on.

Kashi and Bauer who I judged far too soon stood out as did Watt when he came in.

You need to grow out of your foreign player hang up because it is clouding your judgement not that I've ever been a fan of it any way.

Misguided fella and like I said a racist.

Bit strong there, red. I've been out for a ruby with Royston and have witnessed what a generous tipper he can be.

As long as the service is committed and attentive, Royston has no issue with the origin of the servant.

Red's got an agenda, maybe one day he will be himself but for now we get the 'factory' edition.

I saw you in the North West Quad on Saturday Paul.....making your annual State Visit, were you ?
It was good of Dave Lockwood to announce the Charlton players twice pre kick off - just so you recognised them.

I am not sure what was redder. That 'figure hugging' T shirt you were wearing (you could do with a session in the gym).....or your perspiring face in the heat <cheers>

You should have come over Nick and said hello and proved to me that you had finally grown a pair.

You really are mentally unstable and like I said just shows what a soft piece of **** you are.

Talk the talk but when push comes to show you hide .

Wets Stand Willy you come across as a bit of a cock as well to be honest and another Mummys Boy.

Like I keep saying to you I don't have to explain my attendance record to anybody, you might go to more games than me but I out score all of you when it comes down to mileage and costs.

For what it cost me to come against QPR, I could have chosen the cheaper and easier option of going to Derby and Forest especially when put together it would have been cheaper and geographically much closer for me to get to.

I take it you will be going to both games willy? I think not! Every game is an away day for me and an expensive one at that but I don't have to justify myself to some of the **** house closet fans on here and elsewhere who don't step outside of London to watch the club.

You didn't come and see me at the rose Paul, what happened? You have been threatening Charlton fans on the forums for years but you still haven't done anything yet?
