keeper actually dove too far and got more of a thumb on it and barely moved it up than a strong hand on it.

True, but that doesn't explain wayward passing which I think was more down to him being a bit rusty and having a couple of new players around him.
I think it's fair to say that his two best moments in the game were solo efforts not involving interplay with team-mates.
I remember when he first came to us a lot of his passes went astray because he passed where he was expecting others to be rather than where they were. But he's an intelligent footballer and perhaps expects others to be equally so. Fortunately he's intelligent enough to see when something isn't working and adapt.

some were so poor they were god awful and as i said earlier even god himself would not get to them

I'd agree anything he did by himself was better than any pass he made. there was a few i'd ball him out over even trying as passes.

I just think the tactical swithc suited him and rodgers needs to get over his obession with no 8s and this and that and stick the guy wider left to cut him and be done with it... same with firmino when he comes in... oh and drop ****ing lallana.... his hair doesn't need to actually be on pitch to advertise nivea.

buying him might have got us a 25mil sponsorship with them (joking) but lets just leave the hair on the bench form now on eh?

Can freed milner and henderson.... thats got to be the way forward... one of the 3 attackers behind benteke must be dropped and allana is it so obviously.

Lallana was really concerned that his hair had got mussed up at one point.

No chance. At no point were his eyes anywhere but the ball. I've seen Rooney look back twice to check where the opponent is and deliberately throw his elbow as hard as he can and still not get booked.

Clyne should have got MOTM - thought he was the best over the whole 90 mins.

And Lovren was good but he was hardly tested which is why I wouldn't have given him the award over Clyne - he didn't f*ck up which was the main thing.

  16. I didn't think Clyne was that great. He (and Gomez) did alright and both will improve but neither were MOTM.

I didn't think Coutinho was MOTM worthy either, he'd done nothing in the rest of the game. However, it was a game of nothings and Coutinho came up with the one bit of magic so...

hang on jimmy lovern was on the end of everything stoke tossed into the box... yes diouf went after skertl as the weak link and ran that channel but lovern headed everything so you can't say he was not tested.

I deffo would agree on clyne. very solid starting game.

I think the exaggeration by carragher on gomez is no harm as long as they manager and guy himself realises he got schooled second half and he shoudl take it on board and focus on being goal side... he was playing on his wrong side and was pretty solid.

Brendan Rodgers was about to take off the goal scorer, luckily he contacted Gerrez the Tarot Card reader and he changed
    his mind.
