cavani is a lump too... you know he is... bentekkers is a brilliant goal scorer end off.

Lallana is a nothing..It was indeed an attacking move as it allowed milner who was not even in the midfield 2 half the time to actually have a base to play off... though he didn't have much left in the tank.

I am glad at least one of you noticed that, I thought it was just me being biased. Benteke made quite a few good runs and pointed many more times to spaces where he wanted the ball along the floor, nobody seemed capable or wanted to make the pass.

The game was mediocre, I just hope we improve massively.

Coutinho made all sorts of bad decisions today, but he just kept going and won us the game <ok>

I'll take that as his off day <laugh>

yup... and it was a bad day... and not good effort either... like he had no idea where rodgers wanted him centrally.... moved to familiar place and he improves

class strike and match winner... it says it all that he was motm after as he was in no way the best over 90

with formation change and two players in to make our OBVIOUS first 11 play in the OBVIOUS best formation we will improve.

it only needs 433 and can to play behind milner and henderson in CM and then play firmino right and coutinho left and we are there.

Rodgers tants to play too many attacking players and then buy more.

    for us or them... <laugh>

For us you'd probably pick out of lovern, no mistakes, clyne who played well in the right back slot and ibe.... coutinho was prob a 4/10 until he scored.

I would have to say that thier lump up front was good and adam came into it more and more. their defence did ok as well.

A win at Stoke is a good result any week of the season.

First game, with 5 new players making their debut, with the 6-1 to be put to bed.

    Great result.

    The performances will come.

Which of our rivals had a better performance? Answer: None.

chelsea and city are our rivals... one didn't bother to play and the other had their keeper sent off.... the others are all bottlers so don't count.

    good win...

    roll on bournemouth now...

He took a long time to get into the game. He hardly touched it in the first half and when he did nothing came off for him. I'm putting this down to him being a bit rusty, and yet again having to adapt to a new(ish) system. But he persevered, he had one really good run before the goal and then came up with a cracker to win the game.

By the way, Couts has seriously nailed that technique now.. Swerving and dipping, got it to a tee. To think at the start of the last season he couldn't shoot for ****e, now he's got a cannon of a left foot <yikes>

The keeper even got his hand to it. It still went in. You just can't stop it.
