You also keep fit by chasing dogs so you can molest them. And staring at the mens cycling teamt lycra clad buttocks. Massive right arm
Get yourself a trx. You can train yourself to bits outside. You just need a tree or pole to hook up to and you're off.
Cheers Nordic, I've just looked them up and that is exactly the sort of thing I can use to do all my exercises! I'm going to get one, thanks again!
Treadmills mean I can work out regardless of the weather, increase and decrease the speed when I want, and also play music and videos on it to customize the experience. I used to jog on a field, but it's been taken over by chavs.
I find the treadmills hit your joints a lot harder. Couldn't you change your route away from the chavs and what were you doing, just running round and round a field? **** that. Plan your run before you go and always mix it up, if you keep to the same route and same distance, you will get incredibly bored, incredibly quickly. How does the weather stop you training?
Just run past the chavs, good opportunity for a bit of interval sprinting if they chase you for your Air Max!
Never done any gear. Mainly because I compete in a drug free federation. I have not come across anyone on the gear or not who is the same weight as me that can lift more. I would rather be smaller and be deceptively stong than massive and weak as piss. As for gyms they do piss me off, people on their phones the whole time. People doing curls in the squat rack. Clueless instructors showing people how to injure themselves. People thinking its a fashion parade. Then the idiots lifting silly weights with terrible technique and 3 of their mates helping them. I train to compete power lifting so yes I do go to tge gym, but the canal system is a wonderful outdoor excersice area. You can run or cycle down the canal paths, its safe and in many cases beautiful.
I've been watching a couple of new lads who just joined the gym, one of them has clearly never been inside a gym and his mate is 'showing him what to do'. Some of the worst form I've ever seen and they never put anything back the pair of tramps, they won't last long.
Used to have one of those, canny bike but it didn't make me any fitter, never tied it to a tree, nearly wrapped it round one a couple of times though please log in to view this image
