How much do you think we will/should get for Lines and Kuffour?

In both cases I think the advantage in any bargaining will be with the buying clubs.
They will know that we have brought a lot of players in, and their wage bills will need to be paid.

Also, although Buckle has said all the right things about their attitude since he arrived, it's obvious that they don't feature in his plans. Other clubs will see that we have considerably strengthened our attacking options, and have beefed up the midfield.

So I reckon if we get anything between £50,000 and £100,000 for Lines, and between £40,000 and £75,000 for Kuffour we'll be doing well.
I wouldn't be surprised though if they went for less just to lighten the wage bill.

I think Lines will be going for £100,000 if rumours are anything to go by, its definately a six figure sum. Dunno about Kuffour, depends on who is looking at it, if anyone. Im sure I heard somewhere that he is only interested in going to a club in London? If this is the case I can only really imagine someone like Brentford going for him. I wouldnt want him to go as I do think he can offer another option, and as well know, on his day he can be a real problem for CB's in the league above let alone league two. If he does go, I imagine it would be for about £50,000

£200k divided by 14 values your new nomads at an individual price of £14285.71 each...:emoticon-0106-cryin

Poor average even for the 4th tier, don't matter if they are freebees, wannabees, loanees, trainees or even maybees, you're still a bunch of cheapskates...:emoticon-0116-evilg
14 players put together for £200k,Hoskins sold for £900K plus, you've still been screwed by Fatman and Dunce..:bandit:

some free transfers are extremely good transfers. hoskins as example was a free transfer which was very good business indeed.

now the £900,000 plus as you say which we got for hoskins, would of been spent on compo in getting buckle and his staff he has brought in, signing on fees for 13 players and agent fees for them which as we all know aint cheap. used on paying off trollope, hinton, patterson and blizzard. that all costed money. no doubt that the hoskins money have nearly gone. we will sign michael boateng who is on trial which will be more money on signing on fee and agent fee.

then selling lines to palace for a 6 figure sum (about £150,000 my guess) and kuffour on his way out as well for about £70-80,000 will free up money for urgent loans if needed and signings in jan to bolster our promotion push :)

Quote from BCFC O/S,note development side in simple terms thats third string, not as in your case, your first 14 or is it now 15.....? :emoticon-0105-wink:
    City 3-2 Hayes & Yeading

'Jamal Campbell-Ryce completed 45 minutes on his return from injury a 3-2 friendly win over Hayes & Yeading.

A development side beat the Conference National club thanks to goals from trialists at the Failand training ground.

Andre Landell, released by Wolves, bagged a brace, while ex-Cheltenham youth captain James Fawke grabbed the other.'

you still had trialists playing :)

14 signings so far but buckle has announced will offer boateng a contract so 'could' be 15. we got rid of 17 players end of the season then sold hoskins, then told blizzard to do 1. 19 out and 14/15 in. better quality in. just lines and kuffour to go and were ready to go :)

i remember last season in pre-season. we lost to bath and you on 606 was wumming us about it. you have lost to charlton and torquay <laugh>

....of course you never mentioned any of our disasters pre season last year on 606 did you...?

Just a gentle reminder we stayed up in 15th position of the Championship, you were relegated down to level 4,2 below Bristol City for the first time in your history..:emoticon-0106-cryin
