Castles is a bald headed bellend and a Chav fan. He owns 4 buses and has no doors at his house, only walls. Did I mention hes bald?
I'm a big fan of Gary Monk. The guy really is a fantastic manager and Swansea are lucky to have such a humble and talented guy at the helm. I Truely believe that one day he will manage England. It might sound a bit crazy but I think he is exactly what England need. Young and a modern way of thinking about the game, he is also a phenomenal motivator and a quality tactician. I am intrigued about the direction his career will go because I think he is destined for a bigger club than Swansea.
I agree with some but not all , Swansea believe it or not had the foresight to 1stly bring him to the Club as a player then sacked a world renowned player (Laudrup) and replaced him with an unknown untried manager ,the only luck we've had is that we have a fantastic Board who to date have not failed the Club ,Monk is a by product of that vision .I just hope this talk about a future England manager doesn't make him try to run when he's just starting to walk managerially speaking .
Have to say all our rivals looked pretty damn average yesterday. We need to make a statement today and show that we mean business, this title does not look that hard to win right now, because without a huge signing, I think Chelsea have not refreshed their squad.
I can't see Costa starting 10 consecutive games this season. He still seems off the pace. And his replacements aren't nothing to fear. I really believe City and Arsenal are the only real serious contenders this season. Not that I'm writing Chelsea off because their starting XI is still the best in the league but they lack depth and when Hazard and Cesc are off form, they really struggle for creativity. If we had a better striker than Costa, then we would have the better starting XI.
I have to say I love everything about Swansea, and find it incredible that they lose their manager almost every season (since being promoted to the championship, and despite spending in a sustainable way and having a budget dwarfed by their rivals they've improved every season, consistently playing good football.
Was so sure you lot were going to batter them that I had him and giroud in my fantasy team...so blame me
Chelsea are appealing Courtois's red card against Swansea. Utterly laughable. It was a clear red, why on earth are they wasting their time? No doubt they want him available for the City game especially because they know how much of an advantage it is to have Courtois instead of Begovic, but it all seems pointless.
They do if board feel the appeal is frivolous ! or have I just dreamt that as i am sure I have heard that before but I maybe wrong and if so please reply to let me know so
As g4e said, if it's deemed frivolous, they can get an extra game's ban. I doubt they will, but he should get an extra game out. The cheek of them to appeal a blatant decision
