Typical Sky and BBC, both have headlines saying "Chelsea held to a draw by Swansea". The truth is Swansea were held to a draw by Chelsea, they were by far the better team.
We had a very poor game with 4 new players bedding in and it showed, we should improve with time. You lot on the other hand had a team of champions who have played together for a full season but just looked older.
When you go to post a new thread, the tab where you write the title, on the left you have drop down options to choose "Match Day" etc.
Same problems so far with Arsenal. Beaten from a set piece. Cechs good but he doesn't make their defence any better.
If the score stays the same, Arsenal will enjoy the unfortunate distinction of going from the top of the league table to the bottom in just over 27 hours.
Hopefully this result and Chelsea yesterday goes someway to educating people just how little the performance matters so early on. Arsenal did their usual fancy stuff first half and it got them nothing. West Ham have been efficient and that's all you need in the first few games. We beat Spurs. No matter how you spin it, it's a better result than losing to West Ham or being held by Swansea.
Payet for West Ham has fcked up 2 clear cut passes to put them 3 or 4 ahead tbh. Arsenal's underbelly remains soft
Firstly you can have performance AND result. Secondly West Ham's performance has been far far better than ours was yesterday. You need to educate yourself
Yes you can but on day one only one thing matters. Most people have the gist of this simple concept. West Ham have been good. Very efficient. As we were yesterday (efficient).
You are literally the only person who thinks it has to be performance and result. Everyone else puts performance ahead of result, every time. The only time it's not, is pre season. You're a purist though. You just don't get the whole point of the game
