****ing hell that was really frustrating to watch. Dominated possession with no end result. West ham have Been there for the taking and all we did was fluff our chances.
Not the start we wanted. Bad mistake from Cech coming for that ball and getting nowhere near it. Also West Ham have coped fairly well with our attacks and seen a lot of the ball themselves. They are a bit lucky to still have 11 men on the pitch, Tomkins should have walked. We're going to have to really step it up in the 2nd half. I'm still confident we can turn this around.
We need to move ox to the left put Ramsey on the right and have santi in the middle they have a CB at RB on a yellow we need the ox running at him
Cech maybe having a rush of blood to the head due to being overly keen to impress in his first league game for us. It's early in his arsenal career and I'm not going to hold it against him but he should of done better there.
If we want to be serious title contenders, we have to. With Walcott and Sanchez on the bench, they can definitely turn the game around if need be.
Was referring to the set piece. You now have a top class keeper but with the same defence in front, it wasn't going to help.
Bloody awful so far. They have Tomkins at right back and instead of switching OX to the left and make sure he runs at him we have Cazorla out there just cutting in and putting aimless crosses into the box. Ramsey,Ozil and Giroud have all been dreadful. We need to get Walcott on and take off one of those three, Tomkins is also on a yellow, so ****ing run at him!!
I'd take Ramsey off for Walcott I think. Have Walcott and oxo giving us pace down the wings and Cazorla and ozil in the middle together.
It would pleasantly surprise me if he took off Giroud for Walcott at the start of the 2nd half. It would make a change. But knowing Arsene, he won't until the 70th minute. West Ham defence is there for the taking. Walcott would easily rip them apart. I said at the start of this thread he should've started.
Yep, we need Cazorla in that deep lying posisiton controlling the game, that is simply his best posisiton now, so either play him there or don't play him at all.
When I saw the line up, I was already questioning why Özil has been moved to the wing again, and why Cazorla wasn't next to Coquelin. Makes no sense.
I'd put Walcott on and add some more pace and his finishing.Giroud is looking an oil tanker and the rest are getting into each others way. Quite poor to rely on Sanchez so early so hope we step it up second half.
