Well if Rodwell hadn't powderpuffed his header straight into the arms of a floored Kasper Schmeichel, things might have been different.

Well played Leicester. Up for the fight, full of pace and power, lots of desire. Vardy looks great, well we made them look great at times.

We should have been 1-0 up within 5 minutes. Some simply woeful defending. Cattermole was awful. PVA was handed his arse on a plate. Very poor today. Kaboul looked lost at times. Rodwell improved when Catts went off. Welcome to the Prem' Lens, gonna take him a few games to adapt. Defoe took his goal well but can't hold up the ball so for me can't be the front man. Leicester too good for us all over the park. Fletcher nicked a goal but I can't describe how bad his distribution was. Never made a pass.

It's a conversation I've no interest in until Sept 1st. If there hasn't been significant investment by then I won't be holding back don't worry mate. :)

Yet again, we let an average team with uncertainty and worries of their own to walk all over us. Leicester were lucky to be playing us first game of the season. Just the boost that they needed. I feel it is so important to put in decent shifts in order to attract players before the window shuts. Unless we pick up a win against Norwich I cant see us getting anybody who will greatly improve us and us having to settle for plan D, E or F.

I understand it just fine but thank you anyway.

If you look at the fine margins we stay up by you must recognise the importance of every game we as a club we would have had a clear outline of where we wanted our squad to be on day one of the competition momentum is key in sport and we had a real chance to create some in our opening games surely more could have been done to have say a match fit attack minded midfielder in our squad in time for today if your expecting a flurry of signings that will be adequate to make us anything more than strugglers then I think your subscribing to a fairy tale

I understand it's an ideal, but it's not that simple. You said you're a realist, same message you gave to me mate, Get real.

Like today could be a blessing in disguise? I hope you're right. We need at least 3 players of Lens alleged quality to sort this club out. If not then we are falling behind our rivals further and by the end of the season be in deep doo doo's! Cant see us getting what is required to be honest, not that I'm saying that we wont try our best.

I think everyone at the club knows we need two Quality signings or we will struggle. It will happen. The last thing we need is over react at home to Norwich.
    Sept 1st, wait till then.

It's not an ideal in top level sport it's preparation, (comma there just for you Q)
I'm not saying all our business should be done already but for our midfield 3 to have been Catts Rodwell and Larsson isn't really acceptable. Obviously we have missed out, been knocked back, refused the fee etc for targets who have went to other clubs already this summer. Why have we missed out for seemingly most of our main targets? Especially now we have a savvy businessman owner, his DoF Congerton who is by all accounts quite good and a almost legendary Manager.

Some shocking defending by us, but that does not change the fact that their first goal derived from a free kick given for **** all and a fourth goal that was miles off side....Out the neet ower the Fleece to drowned me sorrows a bit more..:emoticon-0175-drunk

I'ver never got that angry over football. Stroppy? Yes. Violence against expensive objects? No.
Now pretendy football is another story. I must have smashed about a dozen controllers and put half a dozen holes in my wall playing Pro Evo back in the day. I'm getting worked up thinking about it even now.

Typical, sadly - what a ****ing waste of money. but why was Catts taken off and not Rodders? although Catts looks like he spent his summer on the piss. Sadly our 0.5 dimensional midfield at it again.

It is an ideal, if it wasn't everyone would have finished their business by now, instead virtually everyone is still looking to strengthen. It's an ideal, 100%. And we've signed M'Vila.

    Quite right.
The way see it that's just common sense. We know Dick want's a couple more next level players, we know Lens and M'Vila are next level, we know we've got money and we know we've got loan spots. Hard for the next signings not to improve the squad.
