Well there's not one up, so here's mine. Team news to follow Pinched from the BBC Head-to-head Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 10 league meetings with Swansea, winning eight. Swansea have lost all four Premier League trips to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea Chelsea have the Premier League's best opening day record, winning 15 of their 23 matches. They have not suffered defeat since losing to Coventry City in 1998-99. Jose Mourinho has a 100% winning record on the opening day of a Premier League season. Diego Costa has scored more Premier League goals against Swansea than any other player - he has five, despite only playing twice against the Welsh side. Swansea City Swansea have won two of their last three opening-day fixtures, having lost the previous six. Last term, Swansea broke their club-record totals for most Premier League points (56), most wins (16), fewest goals conceded (49) and highest finish achieved (eighth). The Swans were unbeaten during pre-season, which ended with a 0-0 draw against Deportivo La Coruna.
One positive, we can't be as bad as the rubbish being served in the Millennium Stadium. I'm feeling confident and going for a 2-1 victory
Monk has gone with an attacking line up. Jonjo in for Cork and Ayew starts with Gomis up front. Costa starts too
Team news Garry Monk names an attacking side for the trip to Stamford Bridge, with Jefferson Montero, André Ayew Pelé, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Bafétimbi Gomis - Officiel all starting against Chelsea. please log in to view this image
Well I'm a bit nervous of that to be honest, this looks like a side we'd put out for a home game rather than away. This could be egg on face if Chelsea clicks today
Well there is that, I will leave it to Garry to pick the teams, this for me a team we'd put out for one of the mid table teams, like Liverpool
Chelsea 13 Courtois 02 Ivanovic 24 Cahill 26 Terry 28 Azpilicueta 21 Matic 04 Fàbregas 22 Willian 08 Oscar 10 Hazard 19 Diego Costa Substitutes 01 Begovic 05 Zouma 07 Ramires 09 Falcao 12 Mikel 18 Remy 20 Moses
I'd feel a lot better if Cork was on instead of Shelvey for a stronger defensive set up. I think monk is gonna try and hit them hard out of the traps. Hope we don't get hammered. Heart 1-0 swans head 3-1 Chelsea.
He's playing Jonjo so Jonjo can kick Costa 20 foot in the air and then swap him with Cork I'd have preferred Cork too.
I do think Shelvey deserves the start but I just think Cork is a safer player. One mistake could easily lead to a goal with opposition like Chelsea
Agree and that's the thing with Jonjo. He could cock up and they score or we could blink and he scores a 30 yard screamer. Deserves his place, I thought he'd have played the 4 of them in the diamond.
That's what I like about Monk, he's not afraid to have a crack at the big boys. Feeling optimistic here, although that could change very soon
