i thought spurs started really well and could have been 2 up but as per they fell appart after the goal.

 

missed the first 10 minutes but the rest of the game has been crap. Spurs seem content to just pass it around the back the lose the ball the minute they try to go forward and Utd look listless too. the goal was a joke too. Rooney couldn't control the ball so Walker finished it off for him.

I Know its only the first game but they both need (and should) improve.

and how many shots on target were there? there was none up to the goal or, indeed, past the goal

 

They have the advantage, but Louis van Gaal's side haven't even managed a shot on target yet.

if i were a spurs fan, i would be going loopy.utd where there for the taking, any pressure and they looked vunrable.
the lack of pace up front, could cause tham major problems.

i'm sure for utd the result will get turned into some sort of display of charector
