Got to say, gutted but 2 good sides, probably about right. i'd have taken it before kickoff i suppose. Bollocks.
Fair result, not promotion material for me unless we can find more goals. Still think we need a midfield general and some pace up top.
Bamba a rock, Wood okish, needs more match time, Mowatt and Cook tireless, fair result after the penalty Burnley should have had.
Would have lost that last season, played well but think we will get better 1 or 2 looked a little rusty but all in all no complaints apart from feeling we lost 2 points.

Was a good game, but not a brilliant game to watch, but it was our first match of season. I'm happy and disappointed with a draw for our first game, we should've won it but we allowed Burnley to run round ud and get the equaliser, by an ex player too. We started the game with quick fire and fast paced passing which seemed to surprise Burnley a little, but they soon picked up on it and started playing a very similar game and began giving as much as they were taking. First half was a good half for us, but we died away a little in second, fitness may well improve that in future games. Antenucci came on for Dallas and didn't take long in finding back of net, and what a great goal it was to watch, this is a player who's not scared to, and knows how to make room for himself to shoot, and he did just that. Sadly the glory and excitement was short lived, 3mins and 10 secs later Burnley were level with a well taken header which left Silvestri with very little chance. Personally, I would've started Antenucci from the off, but I would've brought him on for Wood and not Dallas. Dallas was playing a good game and was getting involved from the word go, he's going to be a good signing for Leeds in games to come. Wood looked ok but didn't do enough to warrant saying he brought impact to team, maybe the formation was wrong for him but he needs to get involved more. Having said that about Wood, our midfield have got to learn fast how to, and when to feed our strikers with good accurate through balls, it wasn't happening, it should be happening often during the game, a midfield who can't give good regular through balls to strikers make strikers look mediocre. Cook and Mowatt, not a lot happening there, some will disagree but Cook wasn't creating much, and while he's suppose to be in a more attacking midfield role he certainly didn't show up as an attacking midfielder, I would've subbed him earlier to bring more impact into midfield and to our strikers. Mowatt, a couple of good little runs with a reasonable shot but not much else, again would've subbed him earlier to bring about more penetration into and around their box. Adeyemi played a good game but not heart stopping, but did bring more to game than Cook and Mowatt imo. Burnley were working the ball well down both our wings, and when needed too they came through middle with a fair amount of ease; we have the strikers, we have the defence, but we need to get our midfield sorted very soon or it'll be a continual problem and possible downfall. I think our defence did very well to keep Burnley out, from Berardi to Bamba, Bellusci and Taylor, they all did a great job in defence, Silvestri played another good game, didn't have much chance with the header so I wouldn't fault him for it, after all, Burnley passed our midfield and beat our defence first before Vokes put the ball past Silvestri. Was good to see both Bellusci and Berardi taking long shots from outside the box, we need to do more of this imo. All up, a good game to watch with much of the match being the fiery fast paced passing and attacking that Rosler talked about. That type of game requires high fitness levels and I'm sure the players will achieve it over the next 5 games or so. Not a bad start and probably a fair result for both sides considering the tempo both sides were playing at. I think we're going to be a force this season. Bring on the next game.
