They have already said they are done with the name change. What other silly ideas would they need to stop for you to buy a pass?
Re-branding and treating us like ****. There needs to be a big change in that second one. Everything they do carries a little dig at the fans, they go out of their way to irritate us. That's more important than the name change for me. The ASI is a prime example. That wasn't a business decision it was a showing the fans who's boss decision. He needs to stop trying to be a dictator.
So rebranding then, which is fine. I was just asking. Treating us like **** isn't an idea, it's just what naturally occurs because they are assholes. That's never going to change unless they hire a PR company and a spokesman to speak for them.
The best thing they could do is hire a chief executive to run the club while they try to sell, and publicly announce it. They'd be sticking to their word and finally we might have a professional running the club.
He posted something a reporter claims was said, but that claim didn't appear in the associated article.
Depends on your prospective. If I was them I wouldn't do that. The best thing I could do was fix the relationship with the city and fans that I had damaged. I'd stop the rebrand and start conducting myself in a more professional way. It might take years but people would forgive eventually. The problem with them trying to stick to their word is that no one will buy us being 100 mill in debt and having no stadium as an asset. It's going to take years of effort to get the club in a position where it's sellable.
it was in multiple articles. He said he was done with it and making the club financially stable and paying down the debt to sell was their new goal.
Agreed about the second part, so assuming they don't write off a ****load of debt, they need to either do as you've said in your first paragraph (but realistically, they're not going to are they?) so failing that, distance themselves from the club until they can sell.
Do you have a link to an article specifically saying he's dropped the name change? I've yet to see one. The Sun reporter that was referred to in the original post certainly didn't include it in his article.
Yea. Lets hope for the best and hope that them staying out of the stadium this season like Burnsy said they are going to do will be the first step in them distancing themselves from it.
It really wasn't. That was discussed in the thread, and the claim was the relevant quote would be in his blog, which I've not seen. http://www.not606.com/threads/allam-eager-to-corner-the-market.307712/
An idea for the trust Dutch but now s the time to smooze the allams. We want you we want you to stay. Done an excellent job with the club etc etc we only disagreed about the name change. This isthe chance to be a great club etc etc Surely?
