I will not step foot inside the KC Stadium to watch Hull City until the Allams are no more than a dark blot on the history of our club. Quite happy not to be giving them over £2k this year
One consideration I have is how/when I go back. The Allams weren't a significant factor for me, if anything I stayed a season or two longer because of them. I don't like the feeling of being dictated to by him or others, and it felt more appropriate to argue from the inside. In itself, him leaving wouldn't change much for me, there'd have to be some changes in the whole experience. I never really describe myself as a football fan. City was more the excuse for a good day out. I actually think relegation would be something that could draw me back, assuming I don't have a change of heart before that. Everyone is free to make their own choices for their own reasons. Criticising those choices achieves nothing except disharmony.
While we remain Hull City I will still be vocally supporting the club as a fan at away games, I will not support the regime that owns the club financially......that even extends to not going to away cup games wher the club get a percentage of the gate receipts
My Sky subscription is around £1000 per year, sports package included in that around £200 (?). I'd happily pay that for the cricket. Two season passes not purchased = £1190 saved.
I'd missed the post saying the As weren't coming at the moment It was actually really good to not see them For what it's worth I thoroughly enjoyed the game in West Stand. Novelty sitting down but ok nevertheless I was surprised about the lack of fans in North Stand. Maybe that's where the most boycotters were from?
Steve Bruce @HullCity says Allams unhappy at abuse and trouble at ground and at homes, hence staying away this season. #hcafc
I don't think it's emotional blackmail. Bruce said people were bricking his house and cars. I'd probably stay away if that's the case.
If that was the case, surely the police would have been called and the story would have made the local press.
