Over summer I think we’ve recruited two decent midfielders in Dean Whitehead and Kyle Dempsey, but other than that I still think we’re a bit light as new left back Jason Davidson is a replacement for Reece James who has gone to Wigan, and young striker Jordy Hiwula may not be ready for first team action just yet. The defence is a concern for me as pre-season has seen us let in plenty of goals, at Barnsley (2), Grimsby (3) and Rochdale (4).

Hull seem to have kept the a decent nucleus of their squad from the Premier League together, and as it’s been five years since Town had an away win on the first day of the season, history isn’t on our side. The away contingent on Saturday will be able to console themselves with numerous renditions of “Steve Bruce, he’s got a big fat head” aimed at the ex-Terriers boss, but ultimately I can’t see anything other than a home win but ill have a few sheckles on 2-2.the form of Nahki Wells has been one highlight of pre-season and I think he looks a decent price in the anytime scorer market .So there you have it a 0-0 lol

I usually go self catering but we're in a hotel this time. Bit weird as its,me and the lad in one room and mrs and daughters next door.
Just me n him in a room it's reminding me of all the lads holidays from the 80's.
